Normally they say no penny sleeves but they have never rejected an order that has them from me. On older cards I don't are about sleeves but on chrome cards they scratch so easy I usually add penny sleeves
@@cardsandcomics Good Evening, Thank you for replying. I do now recall "someone saying" that PSA would cut the side of the semi-rigid to retrieve the card. Have a good evening.
For vintage cards I don't use penny sleeves as I have had them catch older cardboard cards and flip the corners. The sleeve doesn't really protect from scratches like it would a chrome or prizm card. For those types of cards I would sleeve before putting in the semi rigid
@@cardsandcomics use a box cutter to slice the edge of the penny sleeve about a cm then just slide it in from the side, never catch a corner or edge again
I have found that subbing SGC cards to PSA in a crossover submission is almost always fruitless. You are just letting grading bias take over. Also PSA has stated that they can't really see the flaws well and unless the card is clearly undergraded the better move is to pop out of the holder
That 59 Brooksie is a beauty. You put cards directly into grading sleeves without a penny sleeve? That's risky
PSA at one time wouldn't accept penny sleeves on cards
@@cardsandcomics oh wow! Didn't know that.
Good Afternoon,
Could you please tell me if PSA wants the card penny-sleeved or do they want the card placed inside of semi-rigid "naked."
Thank you.

Why dont you penny sleeve the cards before putting them into a semi rigid?

@@booknooky9436 also at one time PSA didn't allow penny sleeves or top loaders
For PSA crossover, do you always crack SGC slabs instead of sending w/slabs
asking for the minimum grades?
Thanks!

Just send to SGC. 💯
It blows my mind how easy it was to open that last case, u could easily put a different card in there and reseal it
Old SGC cases you could almost pop just be flexing the cases
