Thanks for the video Donny. I have a question on Stihl bars, either side of the oiler hole in the groove is a metal lump, when I put my chain on I like to slide it around by hand but the drive links snag into and have to jump over these lumps. I thought they can't be good for the chain so I got a hacksaw blade and started cutting on them but I discovered the metal is soft, like they are made out of lead. I figure they are bar wear indicators or are meant to hold a puddle of oil in the groove. Any thoughts?
Essential information for saw enthusiasts. I learned on quadrajets and holleys, very different but similar essentially😂
