I watched a couple bits of this and I kid you not I thought it was a spoof, and couldn’t watch it.😂😂😂
I'm pretty sure Johnny sued Bernie & leepu as the car was so bad. Johnny is still a Golf man & always has the latest Golf R as several of the TV shows he did on channel 4 he's got the latest certainly when he decided he was opening the Glamping site part way through lockdown. Regarding Chop shop he did a car for Gary kemp as well so there's a link to the krays .
I'm not surprised I've never heard of these guys. Those cars are horrendous. This would never have been allowed to happen in America lol. And England usually makes such nice looking cars. These don't fit that mold.
You say that, but Leepu went on to make a show in the US called Leepu and Pitbull which was basically the same format.
Ohhh this will good 😊
Hope you like it!
Mate I told you what happened to the volcano car in your last post 🤨
But I had already recorded the video at that point I'm afraid...
@oscarsgarage447 I've actually met Johnny Vegas in Glasgow spoke to him about this car it never run right since he got it petrol would pour out wouldn't start when it did drive it always cut out thing was a death trap same as Martin kemp gangster car they both got crushed
Do you know where Volcano car got destroyed?
@@oscarsgarage447 not to sure where it got scrapped same as the capri for Lawrence de lalio that was a terrible car that went to scrap aswell
Got to Admit it was fun to watch but very scary designs and engineering 😅
I did like Chop Chop London Garage at least the replica of Rovers Jet 1 is still around it probably would have gone faster with the Jaguar engine in it than the original Jet 1
They went to speak to the designer of the Rover Jet car and he wasn't at all impressed with their plans to recreate it.
Is that Chris walker on the bike in the pic on the back of the wall
Nope, it's John Reynolds. I was involved with a sponsor and this came into my ownership...
@ I remeber when he used to be on the red bull ducati
I saw this show on the Swedish telly but i think it was from India. Very odd fellow Leepu and that British guy.
Kinda lame that they didn't go the whole hog for Jools and find a working gas turbine engine to put in the Jet 1 replica. The funny thing is, it would actually be the more environmentally-friendly powertrain option swap in some ways, as gas turbines can run on sustainable fuel without needing any modifications!
Nice idea but I will say... went to Le Mans Classic a few years ago and there was a later gas turbine car entered. It seemed to do about 1 lap every hour or so, don't think it was that reliable...
@@oscarsgarage447oscar lap an hour would be from having to wait for sustainable fuels and maybe the electric side was EV, only just spotted these two video's do remember seeing one or two of chop shop but just couldn't face watching the show
LEEPU HAD SHARES IN ISOPON P38 BODY FILLER😂😂😂
Jools Holland a more important customer to them than Johnny Vegas it would seem 🤣🤣
I've paused the vid before it starts. My heart hopes that there will be no survivors from the worst car designer in modern history. .............I hope I am not wrong!
Sorry I was too successful! 😂
In the shouting voice of Lepu..” Bernie what about my design man”..😂
Haha I did enjoy those shows though.
I thought the one they did for Jools Holland looked amazing but most of the others were truly horendous.
I used to watch this screaming at the screen because of the deathtraps Lepu created which I'd hate to be in a crash in. Also remember the car for capital radio which was completely different to what they wanted! I wonder where he is???
The Bentley was for a radio station I believe?
I can remember seeing the Capri on eBay
I’m know Bernie let’s just say he’s full of air and can expand the truth but he is a lovely bloke
I must admit I used to enjoy Classic Car Rescue which Bernie was in with some Canadian guy? Very staged and like a poor man's Wheeler Dealers, but I had a soft spot for it.
Classic car rescue?
I use to love this show
yeah one of the other cars has been on a youtube channel and I think Johnny's verdict could possibly be true
Do you know which car?

Great thanks!
I tried watching one episode of Chop Shop and wanted to kick the TV in, they built a Capri for some sports guy, went to the scrappy for an engine, shouty bald guy found a 3.5 Rover V8 and claimed it was 200 bhp, , got the thing done with stupid gullwing doors etc, guy came to collect it and he couldn't fit in it lol.
Wasn't that the one where the guy was retiring and his teammates thought it would make for a good parting gift? The guy looked absolutely wounded when he was presented with it!
@@dsesuk Was,nt that a Rugbyplayer??
I remember getting half way through the first episode I watched and thought "oh shit these guys are serious, it's not a spoof". Some people should not allowed to work on cars.
I’m sure they built a Saab for Martin kemp. That subsequently. Got took to a car show and blew up
Video coming up on it soon...
His link with the Krays 😂😂😂😂😂
Chopping a car to pieces and re modelling it out of 2 tons of bodywork filler does not make it prestigious unique or worth more than £50
I would say the last car was scrapped also.
What they did to that 944 is tragic 😢
I remember watching this many years ago 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
its a show i had a love-hate relation to but my god leepu is the car desginer worlds equalent to Tommy Wiseau, some of the cars was just painfull to se as it got chopped up and made into temu variants of other cars
Should have been called the bodge shop.
Best thing about owning one of these motoring monstrosity's ...aint no one going to steal it!
Jools hollands was best one
Agree
It was the sports entertainment, more wrestling than mma but with cars 😂
Anyone remember the butchered MG?
I'm on it already... 😉
Leepu spat the dummy out because he wanted to "design his own car" when Jooles Holland wanted a replica of Jet 1.!
Customer is always right springs to mind.! 😉 😉
Lepu has a skill to a degree. But its not for the uk market
My pal charlie burns owns the 6 wheel surf bus polo. Hes turned it into a boat 🤣
We are in touch... keep watching for a video we are putting together!
They all had bangladesh safety standards it moves in straight line bwana
Martin kemp scrapped the abomination lipu did for him,he had it inspected and was unsafe to drive
Used to laugh myself to tears with some of those "designs" by leepoo, poo by name, poo by design..😂😂💩
i remember watching the series i must admit to laughing at the end result of most of the cars as they were hideous
Brilliant, getting the somewhat decent cars out the way first. 😂
