Did you notice that their kids were blondes too when they were young and their hair are now getting darker? I think it's their genes and melanin. Usually, our hair will turn darker because eumelanin production increases as we age (until we go gray, that is). And because some genes are not switched on until triggered by the hormones first released during puberty, we might not show our “true” natural hair color until adolescence. Hair is not the only feature to naturally change color as you age but eyes do to.

The amount of money that it cost's to buy a pair of Tom's just to donate a pair of shoes, that probably cost's a few dollars or less to make, could be used for so many better purposes. Like clean water, mosquito nets, education, medicine, food, shelter and all kinds of other things. I feel like that is the shittiest donation they could be making. They should just donate a portion of the proceeds from each pair sold to a charity or start a charity of their own instead of donating shoes. I understand that they don't allow kids to go to school without shoes in Africa and they roads are shitty, but that is probably the least of their worries and with the money they are making, they should donate the shoes and a portion of the proceeds on top of it if they really want to do some good. I'm sure the adults in Africa could use some shoes too.
hey dont shit over their kindness. every bugger else donates all those things you listed off but no one worries about shoes. Thats where Hanson come in. (or came in, this is from 2008 ya know).

if you knew "the rest of the story"...they do donate towards clean water, etc through fan donations at their concerts not just shoes. BTW, the reason they wanted to donate shoes is they saw how much it was a necessity as well as other things.
