At 31:06 what is the white stuff that your spraying on that fresh wet concrete, what is it called, what does it do & what is purpose of it???????🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Great question! It's concrete cure. Concrete gains strength over time as it cures. Can help increase its resistance to weathering and enhances the lifespan of the concrete. I'll have to do a video on concrete curing now lol
It was some of these guys first time being around a curb machine and they didn't know what to do. We are usually more spread out and short help. Really do not need as much laborers when pouring out with curb machine. Only one day of running it so to give people a full week they were brought in.
@@user-gf5mt7bb6b We've had this machine for years now. We actually just bought a new model Power Curber since we already have the slips for it. We just weren't lucky enough to get to use it because it was on another job already.
Awesome video! I really enjoyed it 👍 I also really like how you guys put barrels around the concrete/hazard!
Thanks for watching! Gotta keep people from driving through the concrete 😉
nice job on the new curb installment👍👍👍👍
Thanks! There were a few hiccups on this side compared the other side, but we got it done!
Enjoyed the video, real life.
So, how many feet on average per day?
Turned out nice. 👍
Thanks for watching! This was over 1,000 ft of curb. The other side we were done by 1pm. This side had a few hiccups and took us 3 hours longer
That curd maker machine is going the exact same speed as the NASA space crawler launch pad.
Slow and steady when it comes to slip forming curb with a curb machine ;)
Hey so does your dad with you brotha?
Yes sir, rick
@ ok yea I meant to ask if he worked with you. Oh ok well thats a cool deal. You guys have a lot of experience on that crew!
Yeah, it's been fun learning from him and the others over the years. Thanks for watching!
@@ARoadBuilder cool beans thank you for the videos brotha!
Do you smoke
Nope. I was getting over a cold/bad cough still in this video though if that's what brought on this question.
Sounds like not one of these guys know what to do!!! Uh I guess, uh I watch him a few times, I don’t know… must be temp workers 👽
Apprentices out of hall. Everyone's gotta learn some how. We don't always run curb machine.
