  • I'm just starting to get into leather work, and I thought it would be fun to try wet forming a mag holster. This is my first attempt, and I'm pretty pleased with the results. While it's not winning any beauty contests, it is perfectly functional for me.
Using the wood as an anvil for the leather stamping did not really work, and I did do some stuff off camera, like add some glue on the backside to fix my stitching knot.

Good instruction - thanks! I'm using this to make a mag-pouch for a .44 AutoMag - pretty hard to find a pouch for the magazine of a pistol this size (and hugely expensive when you do).

Interesting. Video would be better and be a great instructional video if you had narration to explain the steps you were taking to actually make the holster, while leaving most of the music out.

Uh... really? You need your hand held through that? Do people still help you tie your shoes?

@@SnazzyZubloids You don't have to be an asshole about that, man. While you may not need it, it can help those people who learn better with verbal instruction.

All those years studying to be a hand model are really paying dividends.
