- Do these before you travel out of the UK so that you don't experience challenges at the UK borders. I share the documents you need to ensure a smooth journey as an immigrant. The UK government has extended the use of BRP and BRC till March 31st 2025.
This doesn't mean that you shouldn't go head to apply for your eVisa and link your passport to your eVisa. Everyone must have an eVISA and it is your responsibility to apply for your child's eVISA.
I am not an immigration advisor or consultant. Kindly do your own research and follow the guidance on the UK government website.

Can you please guide me where to Find E Visa number? Because there is no E visa number when i view my visa.. and when you are booking flight they want your visa number as well
I don't think that eVisa has a number. Check the flight booking again, did it say eVisa number or visa number? If it asks for your visa number, you can provide the unique application number (UAN) of your last visa or the GWF number of your visa application.
Call the airline to confirm.

Those in the EU have used eVisa for years, I am guessing their passports helped them gain entry into other countries.
I think one needs a visa or passport into other countries so we all have to prepare our documents according to the visa rules of other countries when we want to enter them.
It is entering UK that is the main issue at different borders and I am guessing that the UK government should give them access to the digital system.

They still have to have a passport to enter other countries. Not every country have embassies on a global level. Do you know how many African countries do not have embassies here in the UK . So take for example you live in the UK have your BRP or Brc as a identity along with your passport you can gain entry visa to those countries. Those countries will not accept expired identity even if your passport is valid.
Now the suggestion is print screen shot your evisa as prove those same countries will not accept them . Ok let's say the immigration in those countries want to be helpful calling or emailing our British immigration services how long will that take to get a reply. Where are they going to put us but in a immigration jail until our identity and information checks out .
The biometric system is the best because it's a physical document.
Look this is to heard us into countries that inline with the UK even if we can share information here a email is not a authentic document and your phone still is not prove.
It's nonsense to be frank .
Wasted tax payers money .
Worse case what if we have a satellite shut down or a block out let's say as we speak Russia attack us so you honestly think these systems will be up and working for the general public.
I tell people this paper documents just like cash money is king .
Not ever where take cards some places you have to travel miles to find a bank or a ATM and normally they don't work .
Just like this rubbish.
Our documents and identity is not safe in these things .
Yes they will catch it sometime and some it's too late .
Nest thing I'm wanted for murder in a different country or even here . Because someone is using my identity.
Just a example august of this year money gram was hacked on a global level for over 2 weeks people could not collect but they could send . Did you see that on BBC?

Tbry better get their systems into gear then ASAP!! I recently got stuck in Jamaica because I forgot the expired passport with stamp. I remember asking her can't she check the system or contact UK with the current passport which would prove I'm a resident. 🙄 no im afraid it has to be posted from the UK to physically present BEFORE I can get on thee plane to leave the country. ✈️🇯🇲
@@cynthiaacademy my dear the EU is a system they have been building for almost 100 years . Take any country in the world except for the countries in the European union.
They will never accept the evisa .
Some countries give you a visa at their borders just like what the UK did for decades still do for some countries.
If they have proper prove of who they are .
Alot of country still use a wet stamp and no biometric.
As a traveller they ask stupid questions at those ports having a physical document is having cash money you can't use ATM in the middle of the ocean but you can use cash or the desert. Cash and paper or plastics identification is good.
This system is only for Europe. It's likes saying , I have my Brc BRP I go where they want me to ! That's slaves.
Again you live here in the UK you are from another country your visas is link to your pass port . You now travel to a country that their borders issues you with a visa but you only have a passport from your country of birth you have to prove who you are you place if employment for example now only a book from your home country how are you going to prove that you are employed in the UK or what documents from the home office.
Look we have more third world countries than first world countries and no other country can just use the evisa system.
They are not part of the European zone.
Can other countries outside the UK search our police department for records or suspected criminals? No impossible.
Nothing wrong using it for self use in the country and providing employers and landlords or the bank .
But it cannot be accepted.
That person from Jamaica . Jamaica was one of the first counties to use eye scans . If you go to Jamaica now they want to see that BRP or BRC.
This is what sunack did to labour. They just started it knowing damn well it Will never work here. this country is too diverse for this system unfortunately.

I tried to link my passport many times to evisa, final notification says you have already uploaded the document however it doesn't show up with any details of my passport. Cynthia thank so much for your video. Can i please ask does your evisa shows both passport and biometric details. Coz i only use the passport to get to see my evisa.
I first created an account using my BRP that expires 31 dec 2024. And then sent both BRP and my latest passport so they can link my passport to evisa.
My passport and Brp have been returned, but i can no longer see my biometric number on Evisa. But i can only use passport number to login n i could view my Evisa. But my Brp number is not mentioned anywhere on evisa.

The UK government has been helping some new visa applicants connect to their eVisas. If your photo is not there, try to update it using the same link we use to link your passport.

My BRP was stolen and I am currently in Ireland trying to come back to the UK , UK gov has said they don't issue BRPs anymore. I already have the evisa but my fear is that the Airline might not let me board . Do you know if all airlines can now accept evisas

First, report your stolen BRP.
Link your passport to your eVisa as shown in my videos.
Print your visa approval letter and eVisa. I feel this may be sufficient to come back into the UK but it is risky.
The government has explained that they have not fully rolled out their digital system. Sorry I don’t know which airlines have the system and which one doesn’t.
I am not an immigration advisor so it is best you call the government and ask before you book a ticket.

Hi Cynthia when I check my update personal details where only my old BRP is showing but not new one should i have to update new BRP or not because i have already made e visa with new BRP. What should i have to do.

To be sincere, I don’t know. It wouldn’t hurt to update it with the new BRP and then finally your passport which is likely to have the longest validity.
Some people have asked this before and I think one person said when she tried updating with the new BRP, it couldn’t as it said it was already in the system. They didn’t share what they did next.

NFC.If it doesn't use a phone that does.After that you are good.I recently did this for someone.

You don’t need to pay for anything.
Remember that it is not a visa application. If you need to extend your visa, do so like you used to on the government website and before your current visa expires.

EVisa is free. Some lawyers might charge you but it is free. I just showed you how you can do this by yourself on this channel.
An eVisa is different from a visa application.
u need not print out your e-visa as all airlines check-in computer systems are linked to the Home Office and in THEORY when they scan your passport they will immedialtely know if you are permitted to enter the UK

It is my opinion to print your eVisa to avoid issues at the borders.
There are some borders that you will need to present eVisa (watch the original video made by the Home Office), printing your eVisa is a precaution in case computer systems fail or your phone battery dies or there is no internet connection.
Until systems are perfect and flawless, precautionary measures are not bad advice.
No two people have the same travel experience.

Log in your e-visa and choose 'add identity documents' to your e-visa
Dear my wife can view her Evisa and immigration status
But cannot update her passport details
After passport photo is uploaded it comes as details already in system

If you check the list of documents when you are trying to update her details and the passport is not under the “Add your details link, then report it.

If you are struggling to scan your passport then you should change your phone. If you change your phone to an NFC tags phone (that was used successfully in another person’s application) and you are still struggling to do the same, check whether you already have an eVisa.
Some people on Post Study Work visa already have an eVisa set up because they used the ID check instead of going to a biometric appointment during their last visa application.
