Hey! Found your channel this week - I will admit the huskies drew me in 😜 I have a motorhome and a husky but looking to swap for something smaller. I was curious as to how practical it would be. You are proving it can be done! My boy spends most of his time sitting outside the van anyway, so inside space is kind of irrelevant😂 It would mean being able to get to soooo many more places and not having to worry about parking. I’m really enjoying your videos so thanks for sharing your adventures. 😊

Hi Sarah, welcome! 😊 Haha we are aware that most people probably only watch for the dogs 😂 Yes it is definitely possible to have a small van with huskies. Like your boy, our two like to sit outside watching the world go by, so most of the time we don’t feel too cramped at all. At night we sleep up in the pop top so that the boys have the space downstairs. We are glad you are enjoying the videos. Thanks so much for commenting 😊

Just buying a campervan so your vids have been so helpful. I have a young Labrador and I am not sure the best place or way to secure him when traveling. Any tips?

Hi, we’re glad you are finding the videos helpful. I bet you’re really excited about buying your campervan 😊
The rear seat in our van is the same seat you would find in a VW California which means it comes with Isofix points for child seats. We use the isofix brackets on the rear of the seat to clip the dogs leads to. This makes it easy to secure them in the boot, or if they are in the middle section of the van, we just feed the leads through the seat. We then clip the leads to their harnesses so that they are nice and secure. If you don’t have isofix, I know some people use leads that you can clip into the the seat belts. There is also the option of crating your dog for travel, but obviously crates for our two dogs would take up way too much space in the van. Hope this is of some help to you. Thanks for watching 😊
