- When we found out the world's most luxurious McDonald's was here in Porto, Portugal, we knew we had to go try it! Today we spend the day exploring the beautiful city of Porto and it's breathtaking sights! We cruise the Douro River, climb the cities hills, see the city from the miradouros, watch the talented street performers, and of course, eat at the world's most nicest, best, most luxurious McDonald's ever!

I have never been to any part of Portugal, but my sister lives outside of Amsterdam and they visit all those gorgeous European countries regularly. I have been to The Netherlands, France and Belgium thanks to her. Portugal IS very different, I can see why so many people vacation there! The architecture its from the 30's they restore the building and maintain the important elements to preserve the architecture. It used to be a Cafe very famous called Imperial that open in 1936. The architecture its mainly Art Deco style witch is very characteristic of Porto City.
Its the same feeling I had going from São Paulo to Rio de Janeiro, you feel like you traveled to different countries. I definitely have Portugal in my bucket list, so beautiful.

If you didn't know, that same engineering used by Gustave Eiffel to build the D. Maria Pia bridge was used to inspire the construction of the main part of the Dallas Cowboys stadium. As you can see, the bridge is supported by pillars that are on the margins of the river and not inside the water. It was the only way to build a bridge in that terrain and capable of supporting the weight of the structure. If you care to see the Dallas Cowboys Stadium, you can see two arches crossing the stadium. That was the only way they could support the weight of what is the biggest screen inside a stadium and the weight of the roof. It's wonderful to see that a construction so old can still inspire the builders of today.
That river cruise was great! The city scenes and entertainment were wonderful! McDonalds was unbelievable! I love that you love McDonalds! Sweet Air B&B! You two are such fun and just the best to follow through this big beautiful world of ours!

Hey Dan and Chel! Love watching you guys! What an incredible adventure! Wow! I particularly love watching this little concert in the park, because I’m Brazilian and the songs were Brazilian. They were singing about capoeira which is a very popular sport in Brazil! Awesome!!
