Thank you for this - I hope you don't mind but I am a Mando player and never worked out the latter part of the 'Part B' - got it down now!!. Always admired fiddle players - always such good performers. At a recent 'Bluegrass Fest I got talking to a fiddle player (very good) and asked him about what type etc if I wanted to learn. Unfortunately he told me not to bother as Mando players don't make good fiddle players so to stick with my mando and guitar. Ah well - never mind!

Excellent stuff subscribed now. I was learning this by ear for the acoustic guitar and really helped flesh out my version. Makes me feel like taking up the fiddle.

Good quality stuff... too bad I ain't a fiddler. I'm just a bassist in a proto-band thinking on playing this part on electric guitar in this one and let the vocalist take over bass duty in this one since no one else in the band is able to play this just yet... I don't know if I will but at least it's fun...

Hey Jason, just want to say thanks for the Tutorial, never imagined being able to get anywhere close to playing this (not that I am yet lol!). I've been looking at your online courses and the question that I have is, how much interaction can a person have with you if they are having any difficulties? it strikes me that the course is possibly one-way ie you to me, but perhaps not so easy for me to get feedback from you on any problems I'm having?

Did you say G Major? The Waterboys seem to play C shape chords: G F Am C
I just discovered this song from a local independent radio station. It blew me away. There are several good live version on UA-cam. My favorite is this one where you can really hear the fiddle - ua-cam.com/video/cdUwSZJzjTw/v-deo.html . I was pleasantly surprised to find a FiddleHed lesson on it. Love the lessons. I'll probably be updating my membership to Ultimate soon. By the way, if you haven't heard Diego's Umbrella yet, check them out! The fiddle player is pretty damn good ;-)
