You must keep the receipt but if you don't have it they can look it up by swiping your card. its always good to pay using plastic. its like a mobile receipt
You can get store credit or do an even exchange. if this video i showed how to do an even exchange and i got a brand new palm to plant.
You can do this with any kind of plant you buy and this is a great incentive if you are just getting into gardening or if your plant just dies. listen it happens to the best of us but luckily we always get second chances.

when you plant you should first score the root ball or straighten out the roots so they do not continue to grow in a circle around the plant
