I use clear pads on a chrome rim why do they work awesome for like a day or so then they don’t work at all? Do I have to take the pads off and clean them or something? Should I clean my rim with something special?
My brakes are my shoes. Anyone else run shoe pads and have any recommendations for shoes with superb pedal pin grip and the rubber is good and doesn’t rub off after a month of biking? I wanna try the new Vans Peak but if I pay $120 for vans and they wear away like other lower priced bottoms on their shoes, ima cry in a hole I dig in my backyard. 😂
My brake pads work so well because I follow Brant’s setup 🔥🔥

There’s a lot you can do. Cleaning your rim and pads first and foremost.
People also use simple green on their rim, pop, anything sugary, brake tar
Do the vice grip pads fit any brake arm?
They’re a little bigger than normal so you might have to file out the arm area
My brakes stop on a dime, and give 9 cent back!🤷♂️
Did your boots stop workin did your ex find out did you run through mud?
Gonna need a translator for that one pal
