One of the big messages that the creator, Ryukishi07, wanted to send within higurashi is that when you have a problem, it's important to share the burden with others. share it with the people you trust the most, which might be your friends. and then those friends might tell other friends and make a massive connection, all sharing your burden together and working to solve the problem. and eventually, you'll find an answer to it or use those connections to help you one way or another. bonds.
But, by the same token, when you share your problem with someone you care about and someone who cares about you, you create a problem for them. You shackle them to it, and you can cause them endless anguish and anxiety over it. They carry your burden as well, and they might not even make it any lighter. Everything could change, and there's no telling what could happen. There are burdens you can never offload onto others, and there are favours that you cannot accept. And Ryukishi07 is saying, that in spite of all that, relying on your friends is the right thing to do. Because even if sharing that burden won't make it any lighter, and you trouble them over it, it's definitely the right thing to do. Taking everything on yourself and refusing to trust or put any faith in your precious friends will, without a doubt - cause greater problems and burden your friends more than trusting them ever will. This is the cause of every bad end in Higurashi. In Onikakushi, Keiichi doesn't trust his friends, and so he ends up doing something he can't take back. In Watanagashi, *ion doesn't put any faith in her friends, and outright says so leading up to the climax. In Tatarigoroshi, Satoko refuses to burden her friends, and Keiichi refuses to share his burden. But trusting your friends and sharing your burden isn't enough to make a miracle happen. You need something more than that.

I remember that when she said that that was touching when she said that I was like that's so sweet I think it was when they died it was in the answer arc right before the ark I think that they finally got their happy ending you know I don't have a twin but there is a sibling I'm really close to like that come back to and that would be my sister because when I was a kid my mom had to work most of the time and my sister took care of me she is 10 years older at times she felt more like a second mother my mom worked at the hospital really late so my relationship with my sister is really strong twin connection even if we're not twins and she is ten years older but it doesn't even matter because I have that connection somehow because of how much she took care of me
Well she got to have that happen all over again in Higurashi GOU. Plus some Karma in one of the loops for locking her sister in a cage and butchering Satoko while making Mion watch.
The song embodies the main idea of Higurashi - friendship. Everyone in the song makes a conclusion for himself which made from the experience gained. The song sounds very beautiful and the voices are perfectly combined. However, it is unclear why no songs from the image album are in the anime. My respect for Mion and Hanyū despite the fact that Hanyū's voice is a bit spoiled by autotune.
Richard Richardson Even more than friendship, Higurashi is about the fact that you are never alone, also lyrics in the song. Near every tragedy can be traced to characters feeling alone, taking personal battles, refusing help, and basically anything involving themselves and only themselves. "You're not alone" is such a simple but beautiful message and Higurashi showcases this message beautifully.

It's a pity that the official version played over such a bitter turn of events in Higurashi SOTSU; it was a mutilated victory at best. Featherine (AKA Eua) is still at large, LambaDelta is also in the wind plus has destroyed the person once known as Satoko Hojo and the Friendship she once had as Rika who is now well on her way to becoming the Witch of Miracles Frederica Bernkastel. The only consolation prize is that Hanyuu is Most Definitely NOT Featherine Augustus Aurora but was created by her.
@@cnlbenmc Wut. Lambda existed before Satoko was born, it's heavily hinted that she is the one who helped Miyoko back when she was escaping the orphanage. There are many theories as to why Lambda came to be for the second time but i don't think any of them are confirmed. Rika's case is more clear, Frederica(FURUDERIKA) Bernkastel was created from Rika's countless failures and deaths and already existed before the 8 main parts of the series. she even appears at the beginning of Minagoroshi VN in sea of fragments to talk about the rules of the world that trap Rika. From here on it's my interpretation - Thanks to Rika achieving a miracle in Matsuribayashi Bern became witch of miracles. During Saikoroshi she said that she should stop being a witch and return to being Rika and that's when Frederica(FURUDERIKA) part of Bern disappeared from her name and became just "Bernkastel"

Man this is So fucking painful to read after the Events of Higurashi GOU and SOTSU and I've got a sneaking suspicion that Featherine is gonna rear her ugly head with a Fully Awakened LambaDelta in toe and not the SatokoDelta hybrid to claim her prize of the Cat Frederica Bernkastel, The Witch of Miracles.
If I had to complain about anything, it would be the Keiichi solo part in the beginning because he puts too much emphasis on his words and the Hanyuu part at 5:18 because it sounds a little too auto tuned for my liking. Still a great song though
Really cute, I love the art and how the pictures color to show who's singing, the harmonies in this made my heart melt although WHY IS SATOSHI'S BEAUTIFUL FACE HIDDEN?! *freaks out unil he starts talking upon which she melts into a puddle of goo* XDD They were all so cute though, especially Rena and Satoko! This makes me wanna try watching the anime although I know it'll just make me cry again. I'm really just not made for those kinds of thing TT^TT

+Samuel Savary It doesn't even matter if they're canon. There could be way more reasons as to why they put them with Keiichi/Satoshi and not Shion/Satoshi. In the first arc, Keiichi does the first things Satoshi did before he "transferred" (swinging the bat, becoming distant). They both have an overprotective-ness habit over Satoko, so forth and so forth. Though Shion was in love with Satoshi, she barely knew him, either. It doesn't always have to be the bonds through the song, they have to make the song sound good, too. Them both being the only males.
Red Melancholy Look, I get why they did it. But 1. Satoshi is voiced by a girl and therefore doesn't even harmonize that well with Keiichi. and 2. While I agree with you on Shion (although there's still more of a bond than Keiichi) there could have been a part with Satoshi and Satoko instead.

Well we now know that that technically wasn't her; LambaDelta was the root cause of that but Satoko still should have known better than to make a Faustian bargain with a Woman with Horns and might as well be the Literal Devil of the the Franchise, otherwise known as Featherine Augustus Aurora. At least at some point she tried to resist but then LambaDelta murdered her while Featherine watched and laughed. Then proceeded to wear Satoko's flesh as some kind of skin suit. I refer to the resulting abomination as SatokoDelta, though it seems she didn't kill off Satoko quite as hard as she thought. I think the way LambaDelta works is that she roams around possessing people who have obsessive personalities and indomitable wills (in Umineko she is said to favor and aid those who have unbreakable will) and takes on some of the characteristics of her host at times but had lost her memories and almost all her power. So in a way; the people that theorized that Mio Takano was LambaDelta may have been correct to an extent at some point but was her previous host. When she made her way to Satoko; She found a particularly compatible host and made the pact with Featherine regaining a portion of her lost power (remember she was recognized). Newly empowered she took on Satoko's love for Rika for herself and began slowly corrupting her host until she was able to subvert and kill the original. Now while LambaDelta is cunning, conniving and ruthless; she's not particularly smart from an education standpoint (like a demonic Bart Simpson) and it seems like she's particularly bad at getting across complex concepts with words or even semi-complex ones hence the "I Hate Studying" rant in SOTSU Episode 14-15. While I initially thought that this was just poorly executed storytelling; I've recently thought back to the end of Higurashi Kai and how The normally Poised and FAR more Intelligent Takano was reduced to a babbling wreck going on about "Wanting someone to say that it was ok to live a normal life, I just wanted someone to accept me". She did so after having enforced her will in such a way that led to basically an entire village of over 2000 people to be genocided by Sarin Gas just to prove a point and ALL the more mundane horrors of the Loops for THAT!?; IT MADE *NO SENSE* ! Unless it's LambaDelta's influence messing with her head in a time of extreme distress. On an interesting side note; in another comment I once saw someone post that the Acronym for for Learning Dysability was once listed as LAMBA DELTA, interestingly enough the Higurashi creator used to work in such sectors so he might have heard of the term. It might explain some things about the neigh Autistic rantings if she's literally got a broken "brain" that Featherine laughs at over her antics.
Honestly, I think Higurashi is my favorite series of all time. There just isn't any other series I can think of where the pay off for the best end had so much weight to it. The only other one that comes close is Saya No Uta.
They're all together...They have a genuine friendship, even if the Syndrome consumes them, they're forever going to be friends, and this song brings me to tears at times when I think of the true bond they have, how they've unwillingly killed one another and (Though it's mostly Rika and Hanuu) continuously try to change their fate. Higurashi is an incredibly complex yet amazing series behind the layer of violence which, for most people, is the first part of the show they're introduced to.

Because of the fact the voice behind Hanyuu is Yui Horie it's actually a lot more viable that autotune or no autotune she'd be able to pull off her notes in this rather spectacularly in a live performance as she has a great voice and doesn't have a need to be autotuned at all but that's not really up to her to decide. This is the cause of every bad end in Higurashi. In Onikakushi, Keiichi doesn't trust his friends, and so he ends up doing something he can't take back. In Watanagashi, *ion doesn't put any faith in her friends, and outright says so leading up to the climax. In Tatarigoroshi, Satoko refuses to burden her friends, and Keiichi refuses to share his burden.
But trusting your friends and sharing your burden isn't enough to make a miracle happen. You need something more than that.

I remember that when she said that that was touching when she said that I was like that's so sweet I think it was when they died it was in the answer arc right before the ark I think that they finally got their happy ending you know I don't have a twin but there is a sibling I'm really close to like that come back to and that would be my sister because when I was a kid my mom had to work most of the time and my sister took care of me she is 10 years older at times she felt more like a second mother my mom worked at the hospital really late so my relationship with my sister is really strong twin connection even if we're not twins and she is ten years older but it doesn't even matter because I have that connection somehow because of how much she took care of me
Well she got to have that happen all over again in Higurashi GOU. Plus some Karma in one of the loops for locking her sister in a cage and butchering Satoko while making Mion watch.
The song embodies the main idea of Higurashi - friendship. Everyone in the song makes a conclusion for himself which made from the experience gained. The song sounds very beautiful and the voices are perfectly combined. However, it is unclear why no songs from the image album are in the anime. My respect for Mion and Hanyū despite the fact that Hanyū's voice is a bit spoiled by autotune.

It's a pity that the official version played over such a bitter turn of events in Higurashi SOTSU; it was a mutilated victory at best. Featherine (AKA Eua) is still at large, LambaDelta is also in the wind plus has destroyed the person once known as Satoko Hojo and the Friendship she once had as Rika who is now well on her way to becoming the Witch of Miracles Frederica Bernkastel. The only consolation prize is that Hanyuu is Most Definitely NOT Featherine Augustus Aurora but was created by her.
@@cnlbenmc Wut. Lambda existed before Satoko was born, it's heavily hinted that she is the one who helped Miyoko back when she was escaping the orphanage. There are many theories as to why Lambda came to be for the second time but i don't think any of them are confirmed.
Rika's case is more clear, Frederica(FURUDERIKA) Bernkastel was created from Rika's countless failures and deaths and already existed before the 8 main parts of the series. she even appears at the beginning of Minagoroshi VN in sea of fragments to talk about the rules of the world that trap Rika.
From here on it's my interpretation - Thanks to Rika achieving a miracle in Matsuribayashi Bern became witch of miracles. During Saikoroshi she said that she should stop being a witch and return to being Rika and that's when Frederica(FURUDERIKA) part of Bern disappeared from her name and became just "Bernkastel"

+Samuel Savary It doesn't even matter if they're canon. There could be way more reasons as to why they put them with Keiichi/Satoshi and not Shion/Satoshi.
In the first arc, Keiichi does the first things Satoshi did before he "transferred" (swinging the bat, becoming distant). They both have an overprotective-ness habit over Satoko, so forth and so forth.
Though Shion was in love with Satoshi, she barely knew him, either.
It doesn't always have to be the bonds through the song, they have to make the song sound good, too. Them both being the only males.

Well we now know that that technically wasn't her; LambaDelta was the root cause of that but Satoko still should have known better than to make a Faustian bargain with a Woman with Horns and might as well be the Literal Devil of the the Franchise, otherwise known as Featherine Augustus Aurora. At least at some point she tried to resist but then LambaDelta murdered her while Featherine watched and laughed. Then proceeded to wear Satoko's flesh as some kind of skin suit. I refer to the resulting abomination as SatokoDelta, though it seems she didn't kill off Satoko quite as hard as she thought.
I think the way LambaDelta works is that she roams around possessing people who have obsessive personalities and indomitable wills (in Umineko she is said to favor and aid those who have unbreakable will) and takes on some of the characteristics of her host at times but had lost her memories and almost all her power. So in a way; the people that theorized that Mio Takano was LambaDelta may have been correct to an extent at some point but was her previous host. When she made her way to Satoko; She found a particularly compatible host and made the pact with Featherine regaining a portion of her lost power (remember she was recognized). Newly empowered she took on Satoko's love for Rika for herself and began slowly corrupting her host until she was able to subvert and kill the original. Now while LambaDelta is cunning, conniving and ruthless; she's not particularly smart from an education standpoint (like a demonic Bart Simpson) and it seems like she's particularly bad at getting across complex concepts with words or even semi-complex ones hence the "I Hate Studying" rant in SOTSU Episode 14-15. While I initially thought that this was just poorly executed storytelling; I've recently thought back to the end of Higurashi Kai and how The normally Poised and FAR more Intelligent Takano was reduced to a babbling wreck going on about "Wanting someone to say that it was ok to live a normal life, I just wanted someone to accept me". She did so after having enforced her will in such a way that led to basically an entire village of over 2000 people to be genocided by Sarin Gas just to prove a point and ALL the more mundane horrors of the Loops for THAT!?; IT MADE *NO SENSE* ! Unless it's LambaDelta's influence messing with her head in a time of extreme distress. On an interesting side note; in another comment I once saw someone post that the Acronym for for Learning Dysability was once listed as LAMBA DELTA, interestingly enough the Higurashi creator used to work in such sectors so he might have heard of the term. It might explain some things about the neigh Autistic rantings if she's literally got a broken "brain" that Featherine laughs at over her antics.

Honestly, I think Higurashi is my favorite series of all time. There just isn't any other series I can think of where the pay off for the best end had so much weight to it. The only other one that comes close is Saya No Uta.
They're all together...They have a genuine friendship, even if the Syndrome consumes them, they're forever going to be friends, and this song brings me to tears at times when I think of the true bond they have, how they've unwillingly killed one another and (Though it's mostly Rika and Hanuu) continuously try to change their fate. Higurashi is an incredibly complex yet amazing series behind the layer of violence which, for most people, is the first part of the show they're introduced to.

Unfortunately, Hanyu would've been a wee bit better if the autotune was extremely subtle, she may be the best, but likely hardest to see as genuine.
Because of the fact the voice behind Hanyuu is Yui Horie it's actually a lot more viable that autotune or no autotune she'd be able to pull off her notes in this rather spectacularly in a live performance as she has a great voice and doesn't have a need to be autotuned at all but that's not really up to her to decide.
Still, back on point; Most Japanese voice actors can make the transition shockingly well from a CD song recording of image songs or opening/ending themes they do for anime or video games when it comes time to perform them in concert. Yui Horie is one of those that's been known to be good at it for a pretty lengthy amount of time now so it's surprising to see comments like this still getting made as far in as the 2010s. Hopefully less of those will arise in the 2020s.
