    Dave is a wonderful musician. I had the pleasure of playing with him for a couple of years and miss it. He was always inspirational and gave 110%.

    first saw Dave Scott by chance when he was playing with David Shelly and Bluestone and became an instant fan. This guy plays as well as any blues rock guitarist you can find these days.

    Dave plays some ass kicking blues with great tone and passion. He's got a real cool open jam thing going on now on Tuesday nights in Vero. His kindness and willingness to share the stage with other musicians is much appreciated.

    Dave is one of the greatest guitarists. Hard to judge someone by watching them noodle with a camera in his face. Check out the Tuff Luck film or Dave's instrumental album, both available on iTunes. If you love to listen to great guitar playing, you'll love Dave.

    dave scott is an amazing musician,im lucky enough to play with him on a regular basis and im always floored by his talent.the twatwaffle making stupid comments comparing him to a 15 yr old guitar center player is a douchebag of biblical proportions.dave is awesome and he has the biggest heart of any musician I have ever known.

    Wow. Nice guitar and nice playing.
    But $43500??
    Balls.. I would pay nothing more than ten. For any kind of guitar no matter what. This vintage bullshit has gone over the top.

      In 10 years it'll be $60000. Easy way to make $20000.

      43,900. Is it negotiable? I was thinking 8 or 9 grand. Nice guitar, but give me a break.

    how much would a strat from the late 80s be worth?

    • @coffeewaldo
      @coffeewaldo 8 років тому

      I'd like to know myself since I have a mint 88 american standard. Unfortunately, I big store in chicago offered me $500 so they could sell it for at least twice that. Gotta wait it out I guess.

    Sorry to disagree, he is a fine player, however, I hear that exact thing from some 15 year old kid every-time I walk into Guitar Center etc...
    There was nothing even vaguely unique about what he played from what millions play all around the world!

      CaribSurfKing1 I liked the line yeah its the price of a car but hey... more likely the price of a tricked out Boss 302 Mustang with all the goodies for which I paid $39K and change.. Children a guitar is only as good as the person who is putting down the licks. This guy here would sound the same if he was slamming chords and riffs on some guitar out of wally world.

      Carib - no, you do not hear anything close to "the same thing" from people who shop at Guitar Center. Please.

      +Hitch Slap 20% of the players trying out gear sound pretty similar. UA-cam/Online videos of gear demos and guitar/music lessons for the last decade have greatly helped kids who were 5+ when this started. Now they are 20 years old and rather good. I am writing an article about it currently. There is way more opportunity to become good vs 20 years ago! There are a lot more people with dexterity, timing and decent ears than we all thought!

      Wow! So, you actually did a study, and 20% was your result. Imagine that. So, where are your videos? Show us what you got...
