This is what Gran Turismo 7 needs to be, a mix of past, present and future. Polyphony Digital should just take what previous GT games were great in, and combine that with today's visuals and physics and you will have the best Gran Turismo ever made. Simply leave the old formula of career mode; give us some credits to buy a used car, include driving tests, have all of the old tracks and add some new ones, include some great soundtracks and build all of this using the latest game engine and you can't go wrong with this. I think majority of fans would want this.
They did bring the oldschool back on gran turismo 7 . 😉 im still playing gran turismo 4 also i have all the other ones in my collection like the A spec and concept 2002 Tokyo Geneva. ✌😁

I mean looking at it objectively, it does have a couple of flaws in comparison to more modern titles, but when we take everything into account, GT4 probably takes the win. It simply did almost everything at 80% which makes it one of if not the best racing game of all time. Whereas, later racing games including on Xbox as well as PC, would really excel in one or two things, but would be really subpar in other aspects. GT4 was like a jack of all trades but master of none which made it an awesome all-round game, and certainly at the time of its release, it was way ahead of its time and not a single racing game even came close to it.

I like Gran Turismo 4! The cars are so beautiful, the graphics are so damn good, gran turismo career mode was so amazing, arcade mode was so damn awesome, getting gold in license tests is pretty damn hard, gran turismo 4 had amazing racing tracks, there is a lot of challenges to complete in gran turismo 4 which is a very good thing, the music is so damn good and the atmosphere was so beautiful! Overall Gran Turismo 4 is an absolute Masterpiece of a Game!!

I bought reverse compatible PS3 to play older GT games, I play GT4, GT5(a lot) and GT6, played a bit of the GT3 but I dont like the controls of the gamepad in GT3, will pley it moreonce I buy a PS2 wheel, as PS3 wheels do not work in PS2 games.
Looking at that "front of the car" view, makes me think, its supposed to feel realistic, maybe it does, but what I mean is to make it more realistic it should probably have a behind the steering wheel view, at least I think Which makes me think, that would be a cool arcade, one where it had a rearview mirror which shows what's going on in the back and a closed up car with screens on the windows and back window showing all around the car, just made me think that would be cool
If they make 8 or 9 with a street race in it with cheeses feeling and cool characters. Crazy mod parts racing modes. If they ask people on social media what do you need in this game it will be crazy to do it.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
For me Gran Turismo was always the best of both words- accesible and easier to start for novice players than real sims like Asseto Corsa or Rfactor while still being quite demanding once you turn off all assists and go with decent wheel. Success of Gran Turismo lies in the huge choice of cars ( including exotics or weird vehicles that you kay never see live) and mixture of real as well as fantasy tracks, interesting career mode and many tuning options.

The amount of content that they managed to fit into GT4 is just mind blowing. It makes GT3 looks like a demo in comparison.

GT6 is also very impressive given how hard the Cell was to develop for. The custom SPU code must of been excruciating to write.

I like Gran Turismo 4!
