The most important thing is that the velcro matches, the seams are all the way to the end and that the monogram with GG buckles is shiny, not stiff and the letters are arranged properly, among others, next to the black upper polyp.

I've purchase real Gucci hats were the tags are not like that ones on your real one. That's not really a good indicator. Best indicator and only one you need to know to authenticate is the stitching on the side of the strips. Real one goes all the way down. Fake one stops where the strip begins.
