You folks did a real good video here! I visited Los Algodones just a week ago to see some dentists, get evaluations and estimates. In my case I'm going back in two weeks to start full mouth restorations at SANI Dental, which you showed in your video. For me it is the package deal they could put together in terms of all specialists, imaging, techs, the lab making the teeth parts and even the hotel are there in one place. I'm doing "All on 4" both upper and lower and the cost is about a fourth of the USA.
Fantastic! Sani is the #1 dental in Los Algodones. That was where we intended to go, but, they were all booked and Sani recommended Rumo Dental and we were so amazed at the care, quality of work, and the price!,

Cheryl & Jeff THANK YOU for taking the time to produce, edit and release this video! I had NO idea the amount of work Jeff needed to have done. OMG I had my first and only root canal this past February so I can relate to having all that "stuff" in your mouth. I can NOT imagine having that many root canals and sitting in the dental chair that many hours for that many days in a row...that is just too much for this ol gal to handle. The before and after are definitely jaw dropping. One question....did his new teeth come with any kind of warranty? Jeff you are a warrior for sure and your new smile is great....start smiling more on the videos and show it off you have certainly earned it!

@yolandagrabowski6043 😆..yes. Los Algodones absolutely DEPENDS on Americans and Canadians coming down to get Dental work, so, they are really tough on any type of crime. As, a town, they can't afford to get a "unsafe" reputation. And, Rumo Dental is FANTASTIC.. if you are talking about the comments where someone almost died..they said they went to a place in Santiago. Nowhere near here.

I just found out I need extensive dental work done and the price tag was 38 thousand! Are you kidding me! I live in Arizona and started researching Mexican Dentists and found you guys! I can't tell you how grateful I am that I did. I have been praying and I know he led me to you. I haven't been down there in years and now I really can't wait. While you were walking through the vendors I saw a couple of things that I would get. I guess we will have to bring lots of money to shop and eat. God bless you both.

I had 10 teeth repaired in two days. 5yrs. the first day, and 3hrs. the second. Work was fantastic, best dental experience I've ever had. I'm going back to finish a few more this year. I'd never pay estimates I got in the US, no way no how ! They do take time with you, and keep checking to make sure your doing fine. I had 4 root canals, and didn't feel a thing. Just like my wife, your a good women. I don't think I could of done it without my wife there. WIth that much work, I know how your husband felt, brings back memories just watching the video. It's tough to talk , and keep your thoughts right when getting out of the chair for that long of time. My Dr. gave me breaks every hour , or so to walk around. God Bless your guys .

A comment about walking around in Los Algodones. Be aware of uneven sidewalks and walkways and changing surfaces beneath your feet. These can vary from rough concrete to all sorts of tile, whatever the business decided to do out front. I noticed a few elderly folks with rolling walkers having some difficulty with the transitions. Also a couple of folks on battery powered mobility scooters in places where the sidewalk had a sudden steep uplift. Like I said, most people won't have any trouble, it's just something that I happen to notice during my two days there recently.
Yes! Great comment! I wish I have said something like that on the video! You are exactly right..the town would be difficult to get around if you had mobility problems.
Glad I stumbled onto this video. I'm in SoCal and I made plans to go to Rumo before seeing this and i'm glad I did. I'll be flying in to get the implants this Dec. Jean has called me and helped to get me ready. They are going to pick me up from Yuma international airport and take me to the dental office. The service is already 1000% better than anything i have seen in the US. The dentists here have colluded with the ADA to keep the prices so high here that international is the only option. The procedure I am getting at Rumo is est at $18K vs $40K-$60K I was quoted around SoCal.

I did Invisaligns and they work great. I did them when they first came out so I paid thru the nose. It was supposed to be compared to getting braces. So I was suckered.

Your videos are really helpful! I intend to go & bring my companion for us to both have a dental evaluation & get prescription glasses & sunglasses. He may need a couple of implants. That scares me! I might need a root canal. We're concerned about getting high-quality work vs the cheap work.

What is the cost of doing everything, if you can give a breakdown of the price of the root canals and crowns, it would be better
Since prices change, and UA-cam is forever..we didn't do a breakdown of root canals and such. Because a year from when we went the price might be different. Re: glasses
Did they offer anti-glare coating? I always get that & there's no glare or reflection in my photos.
Are the glasses frames durable & holding up well? I've heard a couple of people state that the frames fell apart in less than a month.
Did you like the choice of frames?
There are so many glasses stores there at Los Algodones, I'm sure you will find the frames you like. I'm still wearing mine, seems they are holding up fine. And, yes they do offer anti-glare at any of the optometrists I believe. Exams are free , but give them 2 to 3 hours to get the glasses back to you. So, order them earlier in the day for same day service.

I have had ONE root canal and said never again. Extremely painful after the numbing goes away. The thought of getting a new smile is nice, but the reality is that I could not do all that at once.

Jeff had this done last April. Still loves it. Whole mouth reconstruction was $12,000 . Would've cost 75,000 in our home state for all that work.

8/2/24 I noticed a sign that said they would work with your insurance. Is that US insurance? Do you know anything about that? Also do they utilize laughing gas if you request it? Thank you!

Are they zirconia crowns? My porcelain crowns didn't last from Los Algodones. I'm going to get some mini Implants next time. No bone grafting needed and not expensive.

It is amazing how Americans have been taught that we can only have great medical and dental care in the US....Hollywood style in fancy high priced buildings, with a doctor that is a multi millionaire off the backs of hard working people. I just broke a tooth off and my dentist sent me to a dental surgeon .....to pull the rest of my tooth and put an implant in......$6000 and don't forget to add the crown that my dentist would put on it. I am researching Mexican dentists and heading to Mexico for dental care! Oh, it cost me $500 just for the consult in the US!!!!

All those root canals I would have told them to put me to sleep.
Oh, they offered to give him anesthesia, but, Jeff is terrified to be put under because he has breathing problems from his Marine Corp days. I am definitely going to get anesthesia if I get work done. Hey, thanks for watching!

Whole mouth reconstruction was $12,000. SANI couldn't get Jeff an appointment. They were all booked up. Even for an evaluation ( at the time) . I think Sani lists thier prices on thier website though.

It was $12,000 for Jeff's whole mouth reconstruction..it would've been upwards of $60,000 in the US.
Do the teeth stain easily?
No. He's had them almost a year now.

They aren't no dental in the world would even com to stay as late as they would.

Yes. I just didn't on the video..knowing this video would be up for years to come.
When Jeff had this done last April ( I think) , the whole mouth reconstruction at Rumo Dental coat $12,000 for the 5 day procedure. The same work would've cost him 70 to $80,000 in our home state and spanned over many months.
It's been almost a year now, and he has had no problems at all with his new teeth. I'm going back to get mine done sometime soon.

We didn't put the cost on, because the cost will change. This video was shot last April, and will be on UA-cam for years possibly. It cost Jeff $12,000 for the whole mouth reconstruction. It would've cost upwards of $70,000 where we live in the states. Thanks for watching!
