  • In this video we continue on our travels taking in more of the breathtaking sights along our way as we head more towards the very bottom of ‪@westernaustralia‬
Unfortunately in this video it isn't our usual normal video due to loosing exactly 300 pieces of footage that we are still scratching our heads as to what happened here.
We leave Pemberton Transit Park where we parked up the caravan looking out onto a huge avocado plantation from our kitchen window, this is where we also try the delightful chocolate at Southern Forests Chocolate Company which is right at the back of the caravan literally where we parked up yum, calling into see the brilliant site at Big Brook Dam, Gloucester Tree in Pemberton before pulling up the caravan once again to camp at Windy Harbour Nature Based Camping Grounds where we were then surrounded by the most adorable but not overly friendly local kangaroos, cute though.
After taking in the sites of the area we then stayed at Walpole Rest Caravan Park checking out Hilltop Lookout, The Giant Tingle Trees in Tingledale, Circular Pool and Valley Of The Giants Tree Top Walk which was a absolutely exhilarating experience and a definite must see whilst your visiting the area.
We then called in and were blown away with the amount of birds and reptiles at Dinosaur World plus the local Deer Farm on the road out.
The next place is where we spent quite a fair amount of time taking in how beautiful this one was and how fresh water was running in a river like channel from the hills above right into the ocean, this was called Conspicuous Cliff.
After a full day of exploring it was time to park up the van and enjoy more of what Demark had to offer staying at a fantastic‪@youcampAUS‬‪@Hipcamp‬ called Rockcliffe Winery nestled just on the outskirts of Denmark.
We used this as a base to then explore Elephant Rocks & Greens Pool, Monkey Rock, Denmark Animal Farm and heaps more.
After that we visited the town of Albany staying at the Panorama Caravan Park where we had view of Albany across the bay where endless groups of pelicans glided by throughout the day.
Our last camp for this episode was Mondurup Escape in Kendenup a place we will not forget anytime soon yet again being the only people to camp here majority of our stay, this again was another brilliant @hipcamp.
We hope that you enjoy this episode ensuring you there are plenty more videos where this one came from, but we promise we would have to admit we are glad the puzzle of making up the footage from our phones and cameras is now over and we are set to go from here onwards, such a massive learning curve.

The Southwest has so much to offer and we loved everything it had on offer.
Yes it’s such a shame but a steep learning curve for us to learn from.
We will never be professionals at this UA-cam thing but we sure love looking back at the great times we had together at the places along our way.
On a positive note we are all good looking forward, thank goodness 😅 this video was super time consuming but great to see the gap is now filled ☺️

Was a good wake up call unfortunately but that’s what happens when you don’t keep a close eye on downloading footage when first taking off.
Lesson learnt the hard way 😪

I feel your pain. I lost a complete Hawaii trip in 2010.

Really that’s sad to hear 😢
Yes we tore our hair out for weeks and weeks just trying to think where it may have disappeared to but after looking into everything we had to just suck it up and learn from this.
Filling the gaps on the videos are a pain in the bottom but getting there.
We have learnt to double back things up now on two external hard drives and download off the sd cards just about everyday give or take how much footage we have recorded.
