- This brand has seemed almost mythical to me since I started reviewing musical instruments. They're not routinely imported to Australia, so for me this is a rare and exciting second-hand find!
Ketron keyboards are well known for Arabic oriental scale, styles and instruments.
Yeah, I think that's their niche.
I have a Solton MS60. It's from 1994 and still a very good board from Ketron lab. Great vid as always.
Simply wow! Thank you for your lovely videos they help me feel less alone 😊
That’s a nice comment! Thanks for watching :)
@@gearfacts that was so nice it was such an easy fix
@@New_Zealand_Music Yeah, so easy to service this machine. Plenty of room, everything clearly visible and easy to manipulate.
@@gearfacts lol, I didn't realise you were Australian lol my mum is from north of the Blue Mountains in Lithgow. I'm a New Zealander
@@New_Zealand_Music Ah New Zealand. Been there twice, best country in the world I'd say :) Thanks for watching my channel bro
with all those buttons, you know its a legit kit.
Certainly the sounds are legit. The buttons are arranged in a really confusing way unfortunately.
This one is little dated, but still sound great - but new ketrons are one of the best sounding arrangers i've ever heard.
Yeah, with a bit of refinement I've got no doubt that this brand could take on the Big 3.
Hi, this keyboard was launched in what year? Thanks
I really don’t know. Early 2000s maybe?
You said the lower keys dont work but your using them? EDIT you fixed it.
Yeah I put a bit in the video about how I went about fixing it. I was very surprised at how easy it was!
Moki has grown :-) nice piano 1.57
Yeah she's got her winter coat something crazy :)

Also Take a look at the Turkish XD9 and Audia in particular those by Taskin Munir Akgeyik. If you were after a great version of the Vega for Arabic Music Styles I recommend either the Silver Vega EX4 Night SKU but not the Extreme and also I recommend the Black Vega 2 in NIght Pro 2 SKU.otherwise if you want to look for modified version I can also recommend the first Infinity with the Red PCB Board.
Comprehensive info! thank you :)
@@gearfacts You're welcome.
This keyboard can be loaded with Rhythms ?
Not sure but you can google up the manual with a bit of searching
@@gearfacts OK thanks friend
Hi gearfacts can I please pick sounds on the Casio wk 200 and can you please buy the Casio wk 200
I've never seen anything like that!
Hey there
I just thought to make you aware that I eMailed you directly today regarding this Ketron unit
Joe from Tassie ... Cheers
Hi Joe, yep i got your email (went to junk but I check that regularly for messages from UA-cam). Unfortunately I sold it ages ago, spare chip and all. I never found out what that chip's function was.
@@gearfacts oh bugga ... my bad luck then
thanks anyway mate
Классный синт!
Спасибо за просмотр моего видео :)
Ohh, that beastie isn't cheap.
True, they're generally listed at very high prices. I can see why, but it's got an operating system that I think I could never be friends with :/
Geezus gears.. hope you didn't spend to much on this thing!
haha no not really. It went cheap because the lower keys weren't working at the time of sale. Couldn't believe how easy it was to fix.
