    As winter leisurely departs the south coast of Iceland, I was blessed with some glorious spring-like days that allowed me to explore 3 of my favourite hidden spots, tucked away off the tourist maps. No clues as to where these places are - you’ll just have to come visit to find out! See what we have on offer at the end of this video.

    Another lovely video, thanks. I really like that you take us to different places than the ones everyone else has already covered to death. But I have to ask, why would you take off those nice big waders and walk barefoot in the frigid water? 😂

    • @VividIceland
      @VividIceland  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks!
      Good question - well the water in some spots almost came over the boots so I decided against wearing them in case some water spilled over and into them. Much prefer cold feet to wet and soggy boots all day! (Plus these are a nightmare to dry...)

      @@VividIceland Ah ok. fair enough. ;) Love the locations here. Would you say they’re all accessible with a rental SUV like a Duster?

    • @VividIceland
      @VividIceland  2 роки тому +1

      @@trojanpony Spots 2 & 3 for sure are very easy to access with a rental SUV - the first one is more difficult as there are numerous streams to cross that can be exceptionally deep depending on the time of day and season. Not too sure if rental insurance would cover you for the damages - I know I hit a few large stones on the way in... I dare not look underneath my car 😢

      @@VividIceland good to know, thanks! I think I found the locations of each but it sounds like I should probably skip the first one. That canoe is so magical and tempting though!

      @@trojanpony First spot is tricky for sure. My friend went there today and said she could not cross the very first river because it was too deep and it appeared that the river bed was very soft - perfect conditions for getting a car stuck lol.
      I think it took her close to 2 hours to hike into the canyon after leaving her car by the first river.

    God loves you so much that He sent His Holy Son Jesus from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins, and to be put into a tomb 3 days and rise from the dead the third day, and He (Jesus) went back up to heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent.
