Just picked up my resto druid again, your guide helped alot to understand all the rework they done. Thanks for that :). I am doing a whole lot better healing now!
You're a life saver I've been looking everywhere for a R druid updated guide since the 11.05 update and I love that you go free Tree of life because most builds don't and I really like that talent and I love star surge, also looking forward to trying your build out! Great video
This is the best S1 Resto Druid guide on UA-cam so far. You explained the talents in a very detailed and logical order. My only question is, can you have more than 2 lifeblooms out with the regrowth talent? Or will regrowth replace previously applied lifeblooms once you hit 3?
Thanks for the nice words! Are you thinking of the rampant growth talent? It doesn't apply lifebloom, but rather regrowth will heal your allies that have lifebloom on them! You can only have two lifeblooms max with talents
If you really like to pull more damage as a healer then Wildtalker hero talents and cat form work well in M+, but it probably is not your basic setup because it could be a little bit harder to master when adding cat form damage abilities on your rotation.. other than that the keeper of the grove feels quite strong on pure healing perspective. In raids Keeper of the Grove seems to be better, I usually pick Power of Nature hero talent and Flourish and spawn a lot of Rejuvenation, you can pull quite good numbers in raids with a stronger Rejuvenation setup and we also have Master shapeshifter talent that keeps generating mana for us if we're playing longer raid fights.
Great video! 💪🏼 Will you be making a similar one or updated version/complement for raid healing/spec too? Also, what’s the name of the addons for the circle on your mouse marker and the + dot on your character?
Yes I will probably in the next few weeks! The Circle Mouse is called "Ultimate Cursor" weak aura, and the green cross is another weak just called "Crosshairs"
Good video! My only critique's would be I feel like you're valuing Photosynthesis a bit too much on yourself I think that it is way more valuable on a second party member with regrowth the 10% increased tickrate ends up hurting hot uptime and overall doesn't make a big difference and I may have missed it but you didn't put a lot of emphasis on the value of efflorescence its a very strong passive AoE heal and lastly the bottom row of the feral tree is very valuable for survivability in higher keys and the utility of demo roar for an interrupt is extremely valuable bit sure if this is a "beginner guide" or what you would describe it as but as a high mythic Rdruid key pusher those are my insights (final note I would usually choose feral charge over dash because more options and valuable usage cases for being able to charge behind a mob doing a frontal or leap to a party member in a better position than you etc, etc, etc. oof sorry not trying to be rude or tear down your work just trying to be informative! Great Job :)
No worries at all! Yes the talents in the video are the caster talents for beginners, the cat form talents in the description will be a more straightforward tree for vets! I think I covered efflorescence pretty decent with the bloom effect from lifebloom and verdancy! Probably could have put a bit more detail tough, thanks for the tips!!
Could you elaborate on why you like keeper over wildstalker for m+ even though Druid discord, wowhead, and icy veins say wildstalker is considerably better? I am curious not looking to counter you. I enjoy wildstalker but sometimes I feel I am not able utilize it effectively in pugs trying to keep up on healing.
The UA-camr DXM made a video on it not too long ago. A few weeks ago I think. His video went more in depth on it at a very high key level, he said healing throughput is just better on kotg. I think both are in similar spots to be honest. I just feel that I play better with kotg so that's what I make my guides on. Ill do a wild stalker soon though!
Keeper is a more controlled cd for when you want to actually use it. Wildstalker is a procbased ability and sometimes procs at the wrong moments or on the wrong targets. At least thats my take on it, I enjoy both specs tho
also switched from wildstalker to keeper again.... Keeper plays more smoothly currently... you can decide when you need big burst ramp healing, also that 10% tempo buff is nice too. I also rather take the reduced convoke cd from the tree instead of takin' the talent which gives the flowers one more target to heal... the heal isn't that crazy in the over-all spectrum so a 45 sec. convoke seems more useful for me in m+ to spam it.

Good luck!!
That cursor looks like something I need to try out! Thanks
Sure thing! It's helped me a lot!

Ah yes, 12:34 is where I misunderstood, thanks for clarifying!

Is there a version of that WA that is not on our cursor?
I think this one will work
