Macro works wonders but how are you getting the icons to change with each skill used? Mine just stays on judgement which isn't breaking it or anything but would like them to change like shown in the vid.

Premonition of Piety makes atonement do very strong single target healing once most people are topped off. Also you can get a lot of value by using Insight on penance due to inescapable torment.

Just so you know I just tested and if your farseer you don't have to get natures swiftness, as ancestral swiftness still works and does not get a second stat so nature swiftness is just a waste of a point.

Oracle can also be realy good, when you get that cd reduction premonition you can cast penance 3 times in high damage intake😊

Only difference I would make is casting potw as tank is pulling (fade if needed) and not as part of the rotation after MB.

My man, while I support people trying to make it on UA-cam... You don't play Disc Priest much, do you? Out of all Disc Priest guides I've ever seen, this had quite a lot of misinformation. Well, I don't know if "misinformation" is the right word exactly, "misrepresentation" might be better. First of all, if you're playing Oracle Disc in M+ (at least as it is on September 7th, 2024) or Raid (unless you're massively overhealing the fight), you're trolling. You heal dungeons, you know how it works, the whole party isn't constantly getting blasted by damage. Higher Atonement uptime is mostly worthless. Higher output when the party IS getting blasted though is quite valuable. Voidweaver wins when it comes to throughput and it's not even close. I realize this is a starter guide aimed at people who haven't touched Discipline Priest in their lives and might try playing it in M+. There are several concepts you have to follow to be mostly okay in 80% of the situations one might encounter in M+. 1) Go Voidweaver, then: Did the party just get blasted by damage or is about to? If you have Voidwraith (Mindbender), Entropic Rift (Mind Blast) and a charge of Power Word: Radiance, you Radiance -> Mindbender -> Mind Blast -> Penance -> Void Blast (Smite) -> Shadow Word: Death -> spam Smite. If your party got slammed or is about to and you DON'T have Voidwraith, you Radiance -> Mind Blast -> Penance -> spam Void Blast and hope for the best. Mind Blast's CD is 20 seconds-ish, Radiance is 18 (or 15 with Bright Pupil, which you shouldn't be picking in M+, ever, because Atonement duration is more valuable than Radiance CD reduction because your Radiances are mostly tied to the 20 second CD of Mind Blast anyway. If you don't have at least a charge of Radiance and Mind Blast (which is just... how? The CD is 20 seconds), you rely on Rapture to pre-shield people or Ultimate Penitence after getting Atonement on all five people. If a single person is getting blasted, shield before damage (especially if you have some Weal and Woe stacks to buff it up) into defensive Penance into Flash Heals, I guess? Anyway, that's 80-90% of playing Disc Priest in dungeons. Radiance -> Bender -> Blast -> Penance -> Void Blast -> Shadow Word: Death -> spam Void Blast. Playing Oracle is like hitting someone with a wet spaghetti 50 times per second for a minute when you could hit them with a baseball bat three times, every 20 seconds instead. Aaaaand Voidweaver is just more damage. The macros were interesting too. The Rapture one especially. You just need a way to put shields on someone on mouseover. Then, you need a separate way to cast Rapture once on mouseover. Shield on someone -> Rapture on someone -> spam Shields on everyone else and you still have several spare shields if you need them while the buff lasts. Anyway, I'm not a great Discipline Priest myself, but I at least take the time to get to know the theory, more or less and I do play the character, even if I'm not exactly Moadmoad. Looking at your Priest's armory (awesome name I completely agree with, by the way), you don't play yours. So, you could have at least made sure your information was completely right. I'm not saying all of this to be mean, I genuinely want to help. Putting up guides on all the healer specs even when you don't play all of them yourself only works when your information is right. You need to do better, sir. And I do realize that this isn't the most coherent analysis of the video, I'm in the middle of disenchanting a bunch of greens before spamming heroics for my 2k Valorstones before reset. If I tried to go through the video point-by-point, I would need to rewatch the whole thing and this comment would be 20 times longer. These are just the things that stuck out the most.

I find piety w/ holy nova to be a great combo on big pulls where the tank is only really taking damage. You can just throw stars and dps w/ nova and the tank gets taken care of

Do you mouse over cast divine toll? or do you just press it from your action bar while you are in a fight? Because i feel i have to many buttons to key haha. Also do you mouse over holy prism or again on your bar and just cast it like that? I assume all is on mouse over.

Lock turned out to be really bad in comparison. We run 8 raids a week, and no locks in any of them. Not that we don't have locks, we do, lots, but its frustrating to play if anybody else pups more or less double the dps with same gear level. I parked my lock, maybe MoP will be different, but for now no way.

Any tips / recommendations for the Horde & Alliance races for each? I don’t know if there a BIS or if you can just whatever you like the look of or keep you out of a higher level / hardcore raid or mythic groups?

Holy priest is substantially more difficult to play with oracle than it used to be.

Is that details that shows your actions? how did you get it vertical?

Love your vids, always look forward to them. One tip I would leave you with is when you cast Premonition of Piety for the over healing, also cast Guardian Spirit on yourself for that extra 60% healing received increase for some INSAVE over healing to the group.

Fine guide overall mate. Your information about Blessing if Summer is incorrect though. You should always cast all buffs on yourself and when you use the actual summer buff on yourself you go into Beacon of virtue and spam heal the shit out yourself. That will give you way better dps then you normally can do.

So this is my 5th healer that I am leveling to 80 and but far I struggle the most with AOE. People love standing in stuff they shouldn't be. I use the conduit hero move, the 1 time use aoe heal on the 3 mins cd and the dragon move with the 1.5min cd that uses soothing mist with you. Once I thru that...I got never. Should I run jade stomp cuz I currently do not do that. Would that be a better aoe healing build?

Good Guide :) But some parts are either confusing or maybe wrong. - "Control of the Dream" makes your cooldown not shorter in that regard it you just don't waste as much time and you can wait 15 sec when something comes of CD without the need to insta press it to don t waste a use in a run - Mastery stacks at 5:00 the stacks count per player so 2 lifeblooms out is not realy equal 6 stacks it is 2 times 3 stacks so every person you have lifebllom on with the talent get 3 times (Mastery %) more healing so here 21% sadly they don't stack on us so we do more healing that would be totaly overpowered.

Uhm…I’ll be “that guy” I guess. Blessing of Summer is probably better saved for your wings, then pump heals to do damage. That’s the line of thinking from smarter minds than mine, in the hpal discord. Also, blessing of spring is also probably better spent on yourself as an hpal, because it increases your healing done. What I’m trying to say is, all 4 seasons are fine and preferable to cast on ourselves. The only outlier would be giving blessing of autumn if you’ve got a dps big pumping, to give them their big cooldowns back sooner. Also, you cast holy prism AT an enemy to heal your group, and AT an ally to do damage to up to 5 targets near your friendly.

19:36 you sure about not putting it on yourself? The way ive heard it explained that it works is if you use it during your high healing moments you'll do a lot of damage. Wings Is Up explains it this way.

i like having convoke at 1 min cd if the pvp use trinkit is still one min cd it pairs perfect so u get a big boosted convoke
