I just finished a particularly exhausting study session and the weather is cold and dreary. I needed a pick-me-up so I decided to take this opportunity to get caught up with this challenge and do the practice you released this morning. It felt really good to stretch out my hips after all the sitting I've been doing and to calm myself down with that guided relaxation in savasana. During the breathing exercise with my hand on my heart, I could feel my heartbeat slowing down to a calmer rhythm which was really incredible. I feel a lot calmer and happier now, and I'm going to infuse the dinner I'm about to make with the good vibes I cultivated in this practice.
Yes, let's hear it for the strap! I feel you - I go through periods where I don't use it much, and then when I come back to it, I'm always like OHHH I need more of this 🥰 Have a lovely day Beth 🙏
Wow I was only watching and dozed off in Savasna. What other workouts do you do besides yoga or is yoga your only practice? The doctor sent me a message yesterday that my cholesterol is even higher than last time so I need to get my diet right or I will be put on Statins and then I accidently looked at my profile and saw my weight is back up almost to my highest weight and I am not a happy camper. At least I have the exercise part together she said exercise 4 times a week at 30 minutes a day which I exceed. Yoga falls into this category even chair yoga

In addition to yoga I go for regular walks, outdoors, breathing the fresh air, looking for glimmers and feeling gratitude for nature. I would highly recommend including short outdoor walks into your routine. However long feels good for your body. You can look for little happy things during your walk and call them "glimmer hunting" walks 🥰
