Get a larger Cutco knife. You won’t regret it. And they sharpen then for life for free. The three best are the large chef’s knife, the serrated trimmer, and the paring knife.

Thank you very much for this great video.👍 I am in my 60's, also losing weight but high meat and fat diet. Cabbage is one of the few veggies allowed and I never thought of baking it but this looks so yummy. I will be using Ghee and Celtic salt. Plan to try this tomorrow night. Morning! What took me so so long to make baked cabbage???? It’s delicious!! I’m just sorry I only had one cabbage to use this time! I used veggie broth and seasoning but the odd thing was I don’t taste the broth at all…just the seasoning. The seasoning I used is my new favorite from Tabitha Brown. This is her Lite Sugar Lite Smoky. It’s salt free. All her seasonings are salt free. Has a hint of hickory. I had to hold myself back from eating the whole batch! Great recipe Shauna dear!! Thank you for sharing your genius ideas! ❤
Good Morning Sister🥰❤ Lol😊It's a game changer in the cabbage cooking, isn't it?! It definitely shrinks down a lot in the cooking process! I don't taste the veggie broth either, it's really just used in this to help the seasoning stick to the cabbage and so the cabbage doesn't dry out. I love Tabitha Brown!!! I haven't tried her seasonings yet, I'll have to check this one out, I love the hickory taste and if it's your new favorite, I'm sure it's super good!!! Isn't that funny about holding ourselves back from eating all of it with veggies, I do the same thing, especially with baked zucchini!! The great thing is we really don't have to, an entire head of cabbage is about 300 calories and only 1 gram of fat. Now THAT is low calorie density!!!😅 How're you this Monday? I always love the beginning of a new week, a fresh start! I'm filming today and doing some cleaning around the house, the grandkids spent the night this weekend and things tend to get undone while they're here! PS...I'm glad you enjoyed the cabbage recipe!

I love tai chi but my balance is very poor, that’s also what I’m working on, so when I ran across a whole bunch of seated tai chi videos on UA-cam I was thrilled! I’m also trying to incorporate light weights for my arms. The baked zucchini recipe is next because I have a lot of zucchini to use up before it goes bad. 😃 Have a wonderful afternoon!! 🥰🌸

@@starchyshauna yummy! On both veggies…actually they are only 2 of many veggies I love. I grew up LOVING beets anyway I could get them. I’m the oldest of 10 kids, one family, and the only kid who liked beets and my mom and dad and grandparents all grew them in their gardens for me and canned them so I’d have them year round. Never had to share them Hee hee hee! My parents always gave us a veggie with dinner/ lunch. It may not have been a large amt, depending on our age, but we had to have them and they switched them up. This way we got exposed to a vast variety of veggies. I’m half polish, half Slovak and so grew up always eating those foods. Cabbage was a mainstay in my diet. How about you? Did you grow up eating certain veggies/foods?

I love cabbage but haven’t eaten it in a long time because I suffer from an IBD. I’m going to try this and cook it as long as possible to completely soften it for easier digestion and take beano as well lol. Also when cutting up the cabbage, if you use a better knife like a chef knife it will be much easier to cut up. Thanks for the recipe. I’m going to try this right away.

@@255094 Yes, you can use mostly the whole cabbage!! The only thing is when we get down to the center part it's not as tender, and there are more hunks of that large vein-ey part, so it takes more effort (at least for me) to pick it apart. Yikes!!! Do you think so? When I measured it in my hand it was less than a 1/2 tsp, more like 1/4, I think it looks like more on the video than actually comes out of the shaker. This is how I eat it though, I'm sharing recipes that I actually make at home and eat. Thank you for watching🥰❤

If you use pointed cabbage / hispi cabbage it is just as yummy but much easier to digest. And faster to cook.

Definitely going to try it with the aquafaba. My favorite way is with onion and caraway seeds.

@@255094 Yes, you can use mostly the whole cabbage!! The only thing is when we get down to the center part it's not as tender, and there are more hunks of that large vein-ey part, so it takes more effort (at least for me) to pick it apart. Yikes!!! Do you think so? When I measured it in my hand it was less than a 1/2 tsp, more like 1/4, I think it looks like more on the video than actually comes out of the shaker. This is how I eat it though, I'm sharing recipes that I actually make at home and eat. Thank you for watching🥰❤
