lol. Baby steps. Last year was the first year we were. “Cold camp” ready. Did a quick stint with hook ups. This year we Boondock for a couple days straight and definitely learned a lot. But once the next round of modifications are done, looking forward to more challenging cold camping.
In the ferry is a good way to melt the snow ❄️ 😂 Do you leave a roof vent open a few inches to help with humidity? I haven’t been that cold yet but with a roof vent open I don’t have condensation. You run the tank heaters off of battery power?
We did not open the vent. I thought about it, but did not want to sacrifice the heat buildup. Already have a better dehumidifier on the way. And yes. We Boondock the entire time. So the heat tracing for the piping. As well as the tank heaters were all on battery.
It would be. Been looking into a tiny pellet stove but weighing out the negatives vs positive sick as venting and then if we need to move quickly and need time to let it burn out. But I love the idea so still debating. Also, want to do other winter mods such as more heat tape and maybe a hot water recirculating system
Always a Joy to see you putting it to the test.
Thank you so much for the comment! Working hard to keep her awesome! Lol
Awesome video!! Rig looks awesome well done Bill
Thank you so much. Loving the build and continuing to improve!
You’re down south. Head up to the NEK for some -20 the end of January. 😂

Can you get a wood stove installed in it? 🤔
lol. In all seriousness I did look into it.
@@SavageTrails and can you cause I have seen others with the small camping ones!!
@@SavageTrails cause I have seen others with the small tent wood burning stoves in them as that would be a game changer!! 🤩
One day hopefully I can get a rig like that
