I always worry about leaving my XT on the Spyder. I heart dropped recently when I left my phone at a local Restaurant. Thankfully they saved it for me.
We were heading out for vacation…while loading the car I couldn’t find the car keys…loaded and unpacked everything three times. Finally found them in the trunk lid of the car (over my head all the time) 😎
Similar experience years ago. Was into Ham Radio and must have set my hand held 2 meter rig on the back of the boat never to be seen again. Little more expensive lesson than the Garman. Ended up in the hospital this year so missed the rally but looking forward to next year. Doing much better. Ray& Linda Ocala. H
Have to say, the wife and I just got back from our first rally. It was in Maggie Valley, NC. If you have never done it, you should totally go. Rallies are the best and you are completely right when you say thus community is so nice and accepting. We felt immediately like we were family and riders just loved hanging out and riding together. Got some great new stuff for the Spyder and cool new gear as well!
Coach Bob and Coach Vic, the Deland Spyder Rally was our first and I must say we had a good time as well. A lot of friendly folks. Talking about stupid stuff I bought the butt buster cushions and left one on the back seat, went riding by myself and it blew off. So yeah we all do it, although you didn’t lose your GPS you sure thought you did for a little while. My In-Laws lived in Cedar Key for about 10 years and we go there and have lunch quite often. Definitely a nice day ride. Thanks again for the great video and it was nice to meet you and Coach Vic. We’ll see you on the road real soon!

Coach Bob, my husband Chip and I were watching older videos over again, and just watched the trip to Havana, Florida where the trailer got backed into. You two need to go back again and eat at Gocki’s at Havana Trading Company across the street. The nicest people own it, have great food, and even hosted Gov. DeSantis not too long ago! I recommend the chicken and Mac and cheese bowl with boom boom sauce, or a bowl of gumbo, any of their sandwiches and their salads with homemade dressings! 😁
Well Coach just like Roger W. I did the same thing with the Butt Buffer The wife and I were out on a ride came home, I went back out by myself to the gas station fueled up and rode home well on the home the Butt Buffer flew off I did not see or feel this happen. When I pulled into my driveway a car stopped and told me something came off my bike out by the entrance to our subdivision. Went back out and there on the road was the wife's Butt Buffer.

Me and the wife went to Indianapolis from West Lafayette, about an hour and a half, and I knew I took my wallet. When we got to Cabela's/Bass Pro to buy a new gun safe, I couldn't find my wallet. I wear sweatpants about all the time because of my disability so I don't keep it in my pants pocket. I carry it in a jacket pocket or just in the car glove box. Anyway, we looked all over inside the car. We drove back to the restaurant we just ate in. Looked all over the parking lot. Asked employees if they'd seen it. We went back to Cabela's to get the safe. We were in line to pay when the wife reach into here purse to get her credit card and my wallet was in there. It had fallen out of my coat when I took it off and threw it in the backseat. It fell, unbelievably, exactly into the small opening in her little purse that was in the floorboard of the backseat behind her. I was fit to be tied until we found that thing so I can understand how you felt. I really don't ever get too angry with anyone else like that but myself.
I'm certainly glad you found the GPS. Those aren't cheap. I find myself forgetting things when rushed, especially when going out the door. Again, it's great that you got to meet up with so many subscribers. One day I hope to run into you two.

I "lost" my custom fitted ear plugs on a multi week trip a few years back. We stopped to check out the power station at the snowy mountains Hydro in Australia, and I just could not find them. I rode the last 6 days without them, back to my home. Once home, I found them in the back pocket of my motorcycle jacket. I never use the back pocket, so I have no idea how they got there. I was so happy to find them, but could have done with them for 6 days riding.

😂😂😅 Are you sure it is missing?? I thought I did the same thing at the Flight 93 Memorial this past summer. With the transition lenses on my glasses, bright sunshine, and the BLACK interiors of the Frunk and Trunk, IT WAS GONE! I was so bummed at the least. When we got back to the hotel I went in and was like, I Know I Took It Off! Went back out and pulled everything out and low and behold it was up against the trunk towards the back by where you push the button to open the trunk! 😅😅 Man was I surprised on that! The bride said see, I told you it was in there!! Yes Dear!😂 Hope you found yours!!!

I bought a spyder 2 months ago. I would like to go to a spyder rally. I live in Fayetteville NC and am 5 hrs from Maggie Valley and 7 hrs from Deland FL. Which would you recommend?
I have never been to the Maggie Valley Rally. I have been to DeLand twice. The rally is a small intimate rally (fits in a parking lot). It is growing and the folks that put it on are quite wonderful. I normally spend one maybe two days just hanging out with fellow riders.
How many times have you walked away from your Spyder and left the key in? 🙋🙋🙋 Another great video. I always look forward to it!! Bonus when Coach Vic is sharing her effervescent self
The town you said would be fun to live on the river is Astor. It is not a place to lives. The river is St. John’s river and it flows south to north and floods the town all the time. Cedar Key is a great place to go for lunch and some shopping. It also a nice place to spend the night, if you want peace and quite. Boy, we’re you off of we’re the hurricane was going to hit. Us Floridians thought it was going to Ft Meyers and Fox weather. I heard you talking about the weather, it was great and cool, you are not custom to central Florida weather. May be I will see you you at Octoberfest. My wife and I would love to due the Cedar Key. We live in Ocala.
Ian made quite a mess in central Florida. It is very sad to see. We have friends and family that have pretty much lost everything. Initially all of the projections showed Tallahassee as a CAT 1. I am planning on a day in Daytona for Biketoberfest. Hope to see ya there.

I gave a ride for a friend and when we were done I put the spare helmet on the back rest and took off and didn’t strap it down lost it on the hi-way

i have gotten to hotels after 500-600 mile day of riding and come to find out i left my clothes in the driveway.

So the dumb thing I done was, my wife and I were going to some friends in Virginia we are from PA and I forgot to pack my suitcase with my clothes

I completely understand... I have no recollection whatsoever of me putting the Zumo in my backpack. I think Vic was hiding it from me!!😂😂😂
