If the only thing a boss can brag about is being the better version of a character, why should people even bother? I'm sorry man, that was just a rant. This boss is so painful. Who play tested this and was like “yeah this is fine let’s release it and make it a trophy”. (I eventually beat stage 9 after like 270 losses)
Kinda ruins the little single player there is too, as I will never try to even get close to him, after a full day of trying to out-cheap him. Once it were done he overstayed his welcome (his stage 8 on extreme without losing a round were almost as painful in 32c heat)
@@PigMac2083 Please take a look at previous Guilty Gear hidden bosses like Baiken and specially Order Sol and you will realize how easy it is in comparison. and yes, he's a hidden boss, not meant to be casually fought, the fact that you have to do Arcade mode twice with the same character is a pretty straight forward way to keep someone who just picked up the game to "accidentally" face him.

If you delay blockstrings sometimes he'll just throw in the dp to counter you. Let's say you respect his dp on wakeup and go for a safe jump. Well, that can work, but he can also use his teleport on wake up and immediately go for a crossup on you. Or like the delayed blockstrings, he can block your overhead and then immediately use his do if you try to continue the pressure. Can't knock him out of his teleport like normal nagoriyuki. He can also block immediately after he uses it so you can't even punish him if you correctly figure out which side he's coming from. Odd, i got Boss nago at Stage 8 using Leo skipping the tag fight entirely. At stage 7 i got "Here comes Daredevil" and fought my partner char (Potemkin) and then he wasn't here with me VS Nago. Is that normal?
Yes, on extreme difficulty you don't get a partner to help you. for example, if i lost one round against Faust just before the Nago fight he would help me fight Nago since the difficulty would then be set to hard. You fight Nago alone only on extreme difficulty.
Lmao I just turtled as Potemkin and grabbed him out of his dash when he tries to approach because he usually doesn't immediately act out of it. Most of the time he'll either do a mid slash move that will miss or wait for an attack input. There will be times that he'll do a high slash so keep your guard up. after the third throw follow it up with the 214 HS heavy slam. 3 grabs and that is enough to stun him. follow up with S HS and the overdrive. at this point he'll be at half health. unfortunately his defense seems to go up as he takes damage so after repeating this twice there was always a bit of a scramble to take the last bit of health. If he allows you some room, big beam should be enough to chip him.

This is the most bullshit I've ever experienced. I hate Strive's single player modes. They're either uninspired, boring or plain, again, bullshit. If it weren't for the graphics and music, this game wouldn't have absolutely nothing superior to Rev 2. Also, imagine beating the helm out of this boss and getting 3 seconds of dialogue. No arcade intros nor endings, no way to know which characters you have completed arcade mode with, no gallery counters to know how much you have to unlock, no single player mode gives you enough money to fish enough to feel progress... Man...
So wait, you're telling me that you lost countless hours of sleep and whatnot fighting an extremely hard boss fight that ONLY GETS HARDER THE MORE YOU LOSE--just to have like 10 seconds of dialogue? Plus, they finally add the concept of multiple endings for each character, akin to Guilty Gear XX/Accent Core series. A series of episodes that you can interact with that awarded you different secret features (gold/black character mode)...But in Strive, they half-assed the entire experience with fetus-sized cutscenes, measly World Dollars, and little to no interaction between the characters throughout the game. Holy shit, this game has no payoff and replay value. I will applaud your efforts, since Strive and Arcsys won't.

Use may and combo dolphin into dolphin 👍
I'm using ino and I can't get past 8. Like an I ass or what the fuck
Im just going to point out your nago literally went stupid for you to win. Your method barely even works. Everytime i get hime super low on the last round he reads every single input countering me at the very end.
You got lucky
soooooo you dont unlock anything out of it?
A Gold Trophy
Vanilla Guilty Gear always are like this, its not new
@ Xrd SIGN had at least full cutscenes for arcade mode, and they lasted longer than 10 seconds.
And characters interacted with one another after they win/lose
And instant kills.
So tell me, what do you get from defeating Baiken in GG and Order Sol in XX? Aren't you confusing Story Mode with Arcade btw?
Considering story mode is a full 4 hours of straight cinematic and no gameplay I would say it’s a fair trade off, and no reply value? What the fuck are you on about lmao.
@@ItsLynch1 I was talking about XX and Accent Core Story Mode lmao, since that's were you unlock the Shadow and Gold characters, that or defeating them in Survival, something I truly doubt you know what I'm even talking about.
Bro I managed to beat Stage 8 no problem, but then I meet Stage 9 Nago and I swear to almighty ive never been more angry at a video game until I met him
I can’t even reach this dude
