So I a question, if I an cold air intake like the Injen Technology PF-Series Intake System. Does it help to get more cold air or it will the same or worse?
Hello boss I watch your video wow it’s super nice and super cool i love it to install to my Xterra too, my question is the snorkel I have 2006 Nissan Xterra off-road
Wouldn't all the Snap-on fittings like the inlet pipe that you sawed the end off of and the small drain hole in the bottom of the Air Box have to be caulked with Silicon?
Why do people install these snorkels on modern trucks since the air intake is higher than the electronics that run the vehicle. Granted MOST (not all) PCMs are designed to be water proof (but water proof is not the same was water submersible); however, the BCMs are NOT since most are locate inside the passenger compartment. Loose the BCM and all electronics are gone since in most vehicle, the main controller (mother) of the vehicle is the BCM. Yes, it looks so cool.... Now if it is an old diesel then yes, it can be submerged.
snorkels also help with grabbing cleaner air since the inlet is near the roof line. they're honestly meant for clean air more than crossing water ways.
Went better than my install. The center drill bit came out of my hole saw, so it proceeded to walk up my fender. Fun times lol
Thanks for the video! Going to tackle this tomorrow . Just picked up my snorkel I ordered from you guys . Cheers
Nice!! Loving the Xterra videos! (places snorkel on wishlist)
Heck yeah!!

They’re mainly for grabbing cleaner air if that makes sense. Raise the intake up and you get less dust and dirt
@@AlldogsOffroadCoop oh ok thank you.
Some day I will put one on midnight
Yes! Don't forget to show us when. your done :)
@@AlldogsOffroadCoop will do
Now someone needs to fab a relocation bracket for the alternator...up high like an engineer should have thought of from Nissan.

Are there any snorkels that would fit in a 2006 Nissan Titan? Because we are having no lucks finding any.
I have a 2010 x, what wheels and tires you have on that one and do I need a lift for it....
You didn't remove fender?
Lets see some vids on that blue tintop sammy! :)
They are there! Just got it up and running in the latest video! Go check it out!
Can you please send me the link for those c-light headlights you installed and how you cut your bumper half way down

Any idea if there is a snorkel on the way for d41 frontier?
I was just about to comment this. I know Nissan done the carbon fiber one on the SEMA truck.
Airflow is actively developing for the D41 :)
@@AlldogsOffroadCoop 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
would a snorkel kit from an frontier/pathfinder could work on a Xterra w some minor mods???
the fenders are different so the mounting wouldn't work.
Ok what rims are those?

More of a ram air intake than a snorkel
OR .... both
