They could damage each other - by ramming in higher speed. They even managed to take each others 4hp and a certain time :D But the enemy is aware of it and therefore - no luck :D

I own a t110e5 as well. It is one of my most favorite tanks to play (I mainly play heavy tanks). Thanks for submitting your replay and showcasing how awesome it can be.
Oooh... I remember how much fun I had when I used to drive around in my T95/FV4201 Chieftain when I saw idiots trying to go toe to toe with me hull down. E5s were some of the easiest to kill. Then again everyone who drives a T95/FV4201 Chieftain fires gold. Quit the game for several months now. Way too filthy for me.

I won the cheiftain Mk6 and its easily one of the best heavies in the game. 7 sec reload and 5.5 sec fast reload with a .31 dispersion and that 350mm of turret armor is insane.

@@nathandamaren2093 There was a gift tank, Russian tier 3 T-29 that had a massive HE shell that might damage II j... BUT, that T-29 also had HEAT shell that was capable of penetrating II j. That is how I killed one II j in a non-premium tank.
it still does for whatever its worth, the middle plate (near horizontal one) is 25mm, a 76mm gun can overmatch that, then again, said 76mm gun needs to survive long enough first

So it's "possible" that I could've won this if i had re-stocked the ammo after the buff.
I really like that E5. 9/10 battles you see the HTs continue camping on the hill because "Here's where I'm supposed to be and I'm not fucking moving!". Good player.
I was legitimately surprised to see the teamkiller penalty on that T2 Light since friendly fire was disabled, until I realized he was an extra-special breed of berk who pushed his ally off the cliff.
Actually Jingles, the commander's hatch on the T110E5 is only 235mm of effective armor. It was buffed to 260mm effective when the T110E5 was given its HD model, but was nerfed several months later when Wargaming realized to their horror that they had made the T110E5 effective when hull-down.
It really doesn't matter how OP this tank is. Anyone with half a brain stopped playing this game years ago. The rest of us are just here to enjoy other people getting shit on in Jingles videos.

A very good lesson to be learned from the T110E5 player. When facing a tank like the Pz. Kpf. 7, which like the Pz. II J can have tricky weakspots, just throw them off a cliff

I like how jingles says how the two games couldn't be more similar BUT at the end of the of the second match, the FV207 was alone against 5 tanks while the Pz II J in the first was also alone against 5 tanks. Just so ya know...
I was screaming at the tetrarch driver on Dave's team in that first replay... tetrarch has the pen to get through the 2J and the mobility to not have to sit out in the open and trade... but yet that's what he did.
I can't believe the other team let them hang out on the cliff-side of the castle for nearly a minute and didn't bother to shoot up at them. Where are these jokers when I'm playing?
I still never can fathom why in that game mode every one always goes to the hill to die, let them have it, the hill is worthless. You can't even see most of the cap from there and there is all kinds of cover from fire from the hill.

You’re right, but it’s like 4 shells out of 10 on average. The side armour is 50 mm and I think the penetration on the Pz2J with premium rounds is 46 mm
Well he did about 53 points of dmg in the last couple of seconds of that game, so basically if he had done what he did when it was too little too late, ei shot the other Pz II J's tracks and then shot into that (still somewhat) weakpoint, he would have killed him eventually

Given that he had 270 rounds of APCR and the enemy II J had 376 HP left when they started their fight, that should've been more than enough to kill it unless he just got atrociously bad RNG for his penetration rolls.
Yes, as a Pz2J owner, you can take out another Pz2J, as long as you can get at their side, flat on, and not be track-touching close.... Too close and your gun is angled down too much, increasing the effective armor. Back off at least 1/2 the length of the tank, then aim just behind the side hatch, as the armor there is exactly 50mm and flat (the side hatches are just slightly thicker, aim for the hull between the hatch and one of the track skirt cover brackets), then using premium ammo (average pen 46mm, with +pen shots will just barely go over 50mm), you will get on average 2~4 pens a clip. If you have the +crit skill, you may get a lucky fire or ammo rack hit and take them down quicker. Otherwise the trick doesn't work if they keep moving/angling, so you can lock them down tracked, then alternate shooting at the side and then at a sprocket to keep them still. There is also a possible spot that might be a bit weaker on one side, where you can see a shock-abosorber looking thing behind the track. It only seems to be weak on one side of the tank (sorry, I don't remember which side off the top of my head), and I can get pens a bit more reliably hitting them there, but it requires they be a bit more elevated than you to get a straight on angle. I have only a few times managed to caught one via that spot, but haven't managed a lock-down-and-kill using that spot yet. More often, if I come across the enemy Pz2J while in mine, I'll do my best to keep them occupied so the rest of the team can cap and win. And yes, you bleed credits like crazy.
As long as you can get flat shots at that little hatch, you can pen (as we saw a few times). Also possible to pen through the cuploa if you hit it low and center, but they shrunk the height of the hitbox so it's not as easy as it used to be. Best bet trying to deal with a Pz.IIJ in a T3 is HE, try and splash on the engine cover.
I must admit I used to enjoy meeting IIJs in my Tilly. Hearing all that gold bouncing off my armour while my peashooter gradually turned him into Swiss cheese.
Dave could have tried to shoot the side and rear at 90°. Then every shot has a ~1 in 3 chance to penetrate. He had 260 rounds left when he started shooting the enemy Pz. 2 J. The enemy had 376 health left so he only needed to shoot a little over a hundred rounds into his side. That leaves 150 rounds, which should be enough to track the enemy at least 15 times, possibly even much more as it only needs one round to reset the repair progress. So the strategy to win a Pz. 2 J duel is to track the enemy, get on his side or rear so you can hit the 50mm plates at 90° and point your front towards him while keeping him tracked. Then fire the first burst of two shells of each magazine into his tracks and the other eight into his armour. The only way for the enemy to defend against this would be to keep you tracked, use the repair kit while you reload and turn the tank slightly so that the plates are angled and you can't penetrate anymore. From that point on it would just be a game of who runs out of ammo, time or patience first.
Ingame chat is hilarious... at 5:30 a guy yells 'FUCKING SHOOT' xD ... thankfully this also shows that these things aren't in the matchmaker all too often because ppl don't seem to know what a Pz.II J is

I sometimes think about taking my E5 out for a spin.... then I contemplate how many 3-15 (or worse) losing team I will have to endure before I can actually have a fun game in it, then I go play Hello Kitty Island Adventure instead
You know, I can't help but think on the fact that WoT and WoWS basically use the same damage scale for both games... and I also can't help but imagine what plunging fire from any Tier 3 WoWS ship would do to a Pz.II J.
I'm a proud owner of a Pz II J and it's the only teir 3 tank I ever drive in randoms. My favorite moment I've had is meeting another Pz II J in battle and us driving past each other basically saying "it's not worth it" yet the less than 20$ I spent on the tank is worth it. it came with 360 days of prem and the 100+ bucks that cost but I didn't care for it.
jingles you have all my respect but in wot you forget that RNG decide who hits and who misses ,it doesn't matter how much talent you have on the crew, what equipment you have when RNG decide .
I have met Panzer II J's in random battles.... have not noticed any problems with fighting them. The two primary tanks I fight in at tier 3 are the Panzer II G carrying the 3cm MK103, which has 95mm of penetration with standard AP ammo (thickest it gets on the J is 80mm, and I tend to aim for the chassis of the tank rather than the turret) and the Valentine, carrying the final gun you can get for it, the mark 5 (early) 6 pounder. Penetration with standard AP ammo 75 mm (yes that is 3mm less than the 2 pounder, but that is hardly worth noting, and the alpha damage is about a third less for the 2 pounder). So yes, the turret from the front is invulnerable to my 6 pounder, but that chassis and back of turret sure as heck ain't. I would actually like if they allowed you to upgrade the gun on the II J to a single shot 3cm gun, with it basically being a single shot MK103. Why? Because not being able to pen your own tank with your gun shouldn't be a thing. And this is coming from someone who is never going to buy the dang thing.
I bought a Pz ll J years ago in WoTB for $15 I think. It was overpowered initially but I think they nerfed the shit out of it, so not only is the gun useless, the armor is too. I also bought a Type 59 for $50 when it was only available for such price. I got it because of the rarity, and eventually the playstyle and credit earning. They've now given it away, put it in crates, etc etc. The "rare tank" I paid for is now common place. Thanks, Wargaming.
Actually there is a weak spot on the ii j If you drive a tank much taller than the II j , like a S35 739( another German sealclubber) You can shoot from above on the top of the front armor and pen each time. However the ii j can harm you in return. I had a ii j down to 1xp before he killed me. Just because I missed a few shots in the heat of the moment.

Considering that the base cap was going up even with the other guy in it, all he had to do is stick as close to the replay player as possible
I must admit I used to enjoy meeting IIJs in my Tilly. Hearing all that gold bouncing off my armour while my peashooter gradually turned him into Swiss cheese.

Dave could have tried to shoot the side and rear at 90°. Then every shot has a ~1 in 3 chance to penetrate. He had 260 rounds left when he started shooting the enemy Pz. 2 J. The enemy had 376 health left so he only needed to shoot a little over a hundred rounds into his side. That leaves 150 rounds, which should be enough to track the enemy at least 15 times, possibly even much more as it only needs one round to reset the repair progress.
So the strategy to win a Pz. 2 J duel is to track the enemy, get on his side or rear so you can hit the 50mm plates at 90° and point your front towards him while keeping him tracked. Then fire the first burst of two shells of each magazine into his tracks and the other eight into his armour.
The only way for the enemy to defend against this would be to keep you tracked, use the repair kit while you reload and turn the tank slightly so that the plates are angled and you can't penetrate anymore. From that point on it would just be a game of who runs out of ammo, time or patience first.

Jingles, you say no one makes a profit in that tank, that is incorrect, Wargaming makes a lot of profit when anyone is in that tank.

This is why I cannot show the 2J any mercy. Every up tier/TD/SPG game I face it, I must destroy it. To restore balance to the force.
I sometimes think about taking my E5 out for a spin.... then I contemplate how many 3-15 (or worse) losing team I will have to endure before I can actually have a fun game in it, then I go play Hello Kitty Island Adventure instead
You know, I can't help but think on the fact that WoT and WoWS basically use the same damage scale for both games... and I also can't help but imagine what plunging fire from any Tier 3 WoWS ship would do to a Pz.II J.

Only time I've beaten a Pz II J was on the Abby map. He came up the river road and I managed to push him into the water.

I'm a proud owner of a Pz II J and it's the only teir 3 tank I ever drive in randoms. My favorite moment I've had is meeting another Pz II J in battle and us driving past each other basically saying "it's not worth it" yet the less than 20$ I spent on the tank is worth it. it came with 360 days of prem and the 100+ bucks that cost but I didn't care for it.

I have met Panzer II J's in random battles.... have not noticed any problems with fighting them. The two primary tanks I fight in at tier 3 are the Panzer II G carrying the 3cm MK103, which has 95mm of penetration with standard AP ammo (thickest it gets on the J is 80mm, and I tend to aim for the chassis of the tank rather than the turret) and the Valentine, carrying the final gun you can get for it, the mark 5 (early) 6 pounder. Penetration with standard AP ammo 75 mm (yes that is 3mm less than the 2 pounder, but that is hardly worth noting, and the alpha damage is about a third less for the 2 pounder). So yes, the turret from the front is invulnerable to my 6 pounder, but that chassis and back of turret sure as heck ain't. I would actually like if they allowed you to upgrade the gun on the II J to a single shot 3cm gun, with it basically being a single shot MK103. Why? Because not being able to pen your own tank with your gun shouldn't be a thing. And this is coming from someone who is never going to buy the dang thing.

I bought a Pz ll J years ago in WoTB for $15 I think. It was overpowered initially but I think they nerfed the shit out of it, so not only is the gun useless, the armor is too. I also bought a Type 59 for $50 when it was only available for such price. I got it because of the rarity, and eventually the playstyle and credit earning. They've now given it away, put it in crates, etc etc. The "rare tank" I paid for is now common place. Thanks, Wargaming.

If you drive a tank much taller than the II j , like a S35 739( another German sealclubber)
You can shoot from above on the top of the front armor and pen each time.
However the ii j can harm you in return.
I had a ii j down to 1xp before he killed me. Just because I missed a few shots in the heat of the moment.
