As far as I'm aware Woozi didn't come on with any dance background, he was majoring in music. He trained and picked it up faster than the other trainees though and was given a choice to be in the performance unit or vocal unit cause he was good enough for both. More recently, their damce teacher and choreogreapher in a podcast/video was praising svt and said he is most proud of Woozi and the cohost said Woozi's style is very similar to the teacher.
During the interview with Suga from BTS, he also mentions that as an only child leaving home to become an idol, he had to work really hard to become a good dancer and idol in general. He felt that he owed it to his parents that gave him the chance to chase his dreams, so he put in a lot of effort to be in my opinion of the most talented non-dance line idols I've seen.

For some more context about Joshua's mistake in this Pretty U performance. In the second chorus, Joshua is at the front and he comes in early on the choreo. The looks on the other guys faces is great, especially S Coups who's immediately to the left of him. If you didn't know it was a mistake, you'd never guess because it looks like it's intentional. It looked so good in fact that they changed the choreo after this performance to include this mistake. Its an iconic moment for Carat history ❤
Fear's aesthetic in its song, choreography and mv is so stunning. The whole aspect of this song suit the concept so well. The pain they try to portray in the song and choreography is visualize perfectly. I wish they release another sequel of Fear😂 One thing about seventeen title track, it will hv all aspect you need in idol song; the vocal, rap and choreo but still it doesn't feel out of place. They fit perfectly. Really appreciate for all the attention you guys have given for Seventeen. Love the reaction💕☺️
The only ones in SVT who have a background in dance are Hoshi, Dino and The8. Hoshi took up dancing when he was young coz he liked it, Both of Dino's parents are dancers and his dad taught him dance since he was like 5yrs old, his dad also has a dance studio and The8 used to be a B-Boy and participated in a lot of competitions when he was young.
Other reactors still react to things that would get blocked. I think they've just figured out various tricks that circumvent it by making it hard to recognize like I've seen ppl desaturating the footage, and/or putting a big text word overlapped in front of the footage, and/or horizontal flipping, and/or playing the footage but only during the more important moments and having the footage be a black screen with audio only during less important moments. Those are just some of the methods I've seen.
Woozi didn't had any dancing background before joining Pledis he just practiced and practiced bc he said during their debut reality he was told to inprove his dancing at the beginning and it stick with him he practiced and practiced, and actually became the best out of the 13 at freestyle dancing, also the members have in fact taken ballet classes for the Don't Wanna Cry choreo (I believe, maybe not that deep but for certain moves they had to have the bases) and korean tradicional dancing classes during their predebut so they did had lots of training beofre debuting, their CEO (Pledis) has a major un dancing so he kinda knows his stuff

There are many videos in where they talked about this and how some styles were better for some of them etc. I SEE what you mean about Woozi but I think that is more of a quality of him than just the style, he is elegant pretty elegant but at the begining he was more of a hh dancer

So though some have had training, Woozi had the least. It just shows how talented he is...genius in fact...that he's been able to become such a great dancer. When you watch the long guide, you'll also see that Hoshi (a black belt) learned martial arts dance, and thus the reason he is so good at choreo. (The8 is also a martial artist and can do things that will blow your mind. He's also a professional "B-Boy" or breakdancer.)

The hard part with this choreography is that it does not look as good when it is a still camera. The cuts make it look more dramatic and dynamic. So they did not put out a fixed camera video.
