The one “doing the splits” 😂 were Joshua and Woozi. Minghao was wearing the bucket hat. Also, the one you said was Hoshi the first time was actually Mingyu and the second time it was Seungkwan. Hoshi our hamster 🐹 had platinum blonde hair and was center during the first chorus Also, the reaction to seungkwan’s and dk’s vocals...👌 😂
2:17 "That's a smart choregraphy. Did Hoshi choreograph this too? He probably did." It's weird that we usually still asked a question when we actually know the answer. Lol but it's normal. I know you're amazed and impressed. So did I 😭
Amy Elik i mean it’s understandable tho,, the thing is hoshi isnt the only one choreographing their choreos - he works with 1-2 other choreographers as well
LINH VU he’s one of the main choreographers for their songs though despite taking direction sometimes. I just kind of think of it as him being the focus choreographer with the final decision. Sadly I think now it’s harder the more they become popular, time is valuable and having such complex choreographies created by one person all the time can put a lot of pressure on them so I think it’s smart he can bring other ppl in to help now. Though he has said in interviews that he feels like he has disappointed Carats doing it that way but I’m glad he has others to rely on.
Emry Kin oh yea i as a carat i do know very well that he’s one of the main choreographers and not the only choreographer. my point wasn’t to say that he shouldn’t be getting help because choreographers working tgt will give better result in the end + it’s a way for him to learn from his senior choreographers. i was referring to how the OP said matter-of-factly that hoshi is the choreographer of this, as if he was the only one choreographing, when in actuality there were other people working with him as well. it was valid of jeff to question whether hoshi choreographed this song
@@JeffAvenue I think they try to show every possible angle and also there's not much going on in the choreo so a fixed angle would be bland. And Seungkwan, one of the member are recovering from a ankle injury that time so that's why the steps are not powerful like the steps they used to dance.
Fun fact: Woozi was meant to be on the performance (dance) unit, but he's fully in charge of the musical aspect (producing all of their songs) so the company put him as the leader of the vocal unit instead. Just wanted to point that out cause i think his dancing skills are pretty underrated even tho he was going to be a part of the performance unit. Kinda glad you recognized him cause in my opinion (outside the performance unit) he's one of their best dancers. Btw, Woozi and Joshua were the ones doing the splits ;) Ps. English is not my main language so sometimes i get pretty confused with "in" and "on" so i hope this was correct 😂 As usual, love ur reactions Jeff, take care! ❤

Hey just checked out your "reaction check list" and want to say that the "don’t wanna cry 2x" video is already in the "seventeen: kings of synchronization" video. So you don’t have to react to it twice 😉

i really love the way that you appreciate seventeen's versatility. seventeen pays great attention in the kind of music they put out and the kind of messages they want to share so they really don't stick to one genre. they have been under fire for not putting out songs like don't wanna cry when it came out because it was what the public wanted but they continued to explore different styles of music as well as different types of dances. please react to "Snap Shoot" (only dance practice though) and "Pretty U" next as these two are very theatrical-like and shows their playful, creative side as performers. @@JeffAvenue I agree but once you start watching more of their dance practice or mvs you really start to recognize their voices and body shapes over their faces 😂😂 good try tho rooting for you
Your reaction is probably one of my favorite when it comes to Seventeen. I'm so happy when someone really appreciate their dance skill and technique:D And I'm even happier when you said their names!!! byw you're doing great learning their names. Most people would take longer than that lol
any guy he doesn’t know the name of: jeff: is this hoshi? LOL it’s ok he’s the blonde center of the first chorus it took me a while to get names as well haha
I like how you said it's not a song for your playlist, and I completely understand that even though I love this song. Thank you for being so honest because not a lot of reactors are.
wow Seungkwan in a dark concept is so different! He shows a different side with his smooth and powerful dance moves in the center as we are used to seeing the diva boo and cute fluff ball boo like in lnr era
I think Seungkwan more than anyone seems to embody like a fallen angel concept in Fear-- they're all dark, but he seems like an especially tragic figure somehow. Yes I know I'm three years late to the game but please let me have this
The appreciation you show for their choreography and explanation for the details in the movements makes me learn more as a viewer. Svt excels in portraying the feelings of their music which is why i enjoy seeing their performances a lot. They put so much thought into what song they want to put out next in their comebacks which is why they aren’t limited to one genre. You said that their songs seem to be different each time and for me it’s a great thing since I listen to a wide range of music. I just love how they never stick to one type of thing but explore their options when it comes to music. That’s the beauty of their creativity as artists who are freely allowed to make their music and own choreography
When you said "ohh that's high". Seungkwan did that. And the second solo part is also him not Hoshi. The vocals at the back in the end are seungkwan's and Dk's (first seungkwan and then DK joins).
I love how you try to recognize and name the member on screen. What I enjoy the most is seeing you in the process of turning into a carat in every reaction vid you make about them
Jeff: calls mingyu and seungkwan both Hoshi Hoshi: is literally standing there right after Jeff: seriously though, you're doing so well in learning them all! its a lot to keep track of LOL as an Army-Carat, im so happy to see the SVT content and happy to see you enjoying them
Jeff : Of course, it's Mingyu. Mingyu: Of course, why not?! [ Carats know this ;-) ] Love the dance practice video that mostly members wear short sleeves T-Shirt, exposing their arms especially Vernon and the huge Mingyu, so manly. Oh my gosh. 'Of course it's Mingyu'...again. love love love
The number of times you managed to pause BEATS before the killing points in BOTH videos is amazing, I think you have a secret killing-point detection power. I love the whole concept of this song: they're not the good guys, they're the toxic people you should avoid at all costs, and if you intend to stay with them, you're going to have to accept that because they won't change. IT'S SO DRAMATIC AND GOOD. Also the drinking poison from their palms gesture murders me in specific.

Seventeen is a group with very diverse music. Sometimes you enjoy 1 release SO MUCH, others don't click for you BUT they all have a certain distinct "seventeen" flavour in all of them. Best part of them is how their passionate and love to explore music and performance! I honestly can't wait for you to uncover the variety of high quality performances from our boys ❤️💎 Thank You for appreciating them ~ Love, A carat
Dino, Seventeen's maknae, just released another Danceology video, featuring Vernon. Could you please add the Danceology series to your list, together with The8 "Doodle Diary"?
it's really hard to memorize svt's names and i find it rlly confusing at first but watching unhelpful guides or subpar guides to svt really helped me. also, i love your channel!!! i've been subscrived ever since you reacted to nct 127 AND WAS SURPRISED WHEN YOU DID SVT'S FALLING FLOWER FKSJFISJ. it's really amazing to hear unbiased commentaries and reactions. i stan. i also recommend svt's getting closer!!!
The part where the vocalist separates from the rest at the back, the part that you like, Hoshi calls that '12 vs 1'. He first made/put that formation in one of their older song that he choreographed 'Fast Pace'.
Can you please sb19 alab and go up dance practice. They’re a filipino boygroup under a korean entertainment. They produce and choreograph their own songs. Seventeen is the most synchronized group 💜
I’m seriously just binge watching your SVTN reactions. I love how you read about the song and watch both the dance practice and MV. Plus you are learning their names. Edit: Ok I about died when you were so confident about naming Hoshi (which was actually Mingyu). I’ve never seen those two get mixed up 😂😂. Still kudos to making the effort
he is literally the “My name Jeff” meme hahaha im sorry but loved your reaction and glad that you’re starting to get the members names, we know it’s not easyxD
I badly want to hear/see your reaction and opinion to seventeen’s ‘call call call’ but unfortunately it’s japanese. So I’ll just wait for Clap, Thanks and Getting Closer
Well not technically unfortunate. It would unfortunately probably take a while to get a reaction but Seventeen doesn’t block or strike reactions to their Japanese songs bc they r under Pledis Japan (aka Pledis) and not some other Japanese comapany in Japan (like Sony, Ponnie, etc.) So Seventeen’s Japanese music works differently.
you’re almost there !!! you got more than half of the members’ names correct !! haha the whole caratland is proud of you !!! and yep just an opinion as a fan too, fear was top-notch and i love everything abt it overall (as always), but it’s not on top of my fave seventeen songs (which i tell you, there are clearly a TON) this one also received little backlash from the general public of korea, but honestly it all boils down to different music style preferences,, which btw seventeen’s goal has always been clear and distinct - that is to produce their own music and own flavor without minding others + woozi particularly said that if there’s at least some people who love and got comforted by one of their songs, then their purpose as artists are already granted. (they are humble and simple-minded kings) seventeen seriously is like no other in kpop, and the way they love their fans is just everything, it overflows the amount of love i thought existed on artists and fans. i hope yall show them more love and recognition (which they really deserve) SEVENTEEN FIGHTING 💯✨ and fighting to you as well !! love this channel

Seventeen is a group with very diverse music. Sometimes you enjoy 1 release SO MUCH, others don't click for you BUT they all have a certain distinct "seventeen" flavour in all of them.
Best part of them is how their passionate and love to explore music and performance!
I honestly can't wait for you to uncover the variety of high quality performances from our boys ❤️💎
Thank You for appreciating them ~
Love,
A carat
hey u really should watch getting closer choreography. it was *chef’s kiss*
1. I love that you call THE8 Minghao
Please react to THANKS by seventeen / it is my favorite choreography after all
omg love that you remember almost all of them!!!! good job and thank you for this reaction >
Dino, Seventeen's maknae, just released another Danceology video, featuring Vernon. Could you please add the Danceology series to your list, together with The8 "Doodle Diary"?
it's really hard to memorize svt's names and i find it rlly confusing at first but watching unhelpful guides or subpar guides to svt really helped me. also, i love your channel!!! i've been subscrived ever since you reacted to nct 127 AND WAS SURPRISED WHEN YOU DID SVT'S FALLING FLOWER FKSJFISJ. it's really amazing to hear unbiased commentaries and reactions. i stan. i also recommend svt's getting closer!!!
you got all name right except seungkwan and dino 👍🏻🥺
Seventeen are amazing dancers and I love them 😍
Please react to "Our dawn is hotter than day" of Seventeen, you'll love it too.. ❤ thanks
The part where the vocalist separates from the rest at the back, the part that you like, Hoshi calls that '12 vs 1'. He first made/put that formation in one of their older song that he choreographed 'Fast Pace'.
9:54 Lol it's a beattle not cocroach 😂
Yooo I'm dying at that part when he said it was a cockroach 😭🤣
What are beatles?
Lol jk
@@JeffAvenue it's a cockroach
LMAO Jk
Please check out their other works too. Thanks, Getting Closer, Oh My!, Jun and The8 "My I", and my favorite Our Dawn is Hotter Than Day.
I THINK YOU SHOULD REACT TO SEVENTEEN GETTING CLOSER🥺🥺🥺
I love how you focus, replay the video to see the small detail
Can you please sb19 alab and go up dance practice. They’re a filipino boygroup under a korean entertainment. They produce and choreograph their own songs.
Seventeen is the most synchronized group 💜
we just love the king of versatility..
Please react to SEVENTEEN Getting Closer, it’s SO good❤️❤️❤️
I’m seriously just binge watching your SVTN reactions. I love how you read about the song and watch both the dance practice and MV. Plus you are learning their names. Shows your actual interest which is not the usual with some reactors who just react for views and don’t make any effort. 💜💎 subscribed!
Edit: Ok I about died when you were so confident about naming Hoshi (which was actually Mingyu). I’ve never seen those two get mixed up 😂😂. Still kudos to making the effort
LOL don’t worry I got them all now! 😁😁
Please react to Jun and The 8 - My I
he is literally the “My name Jeff” meme hahaha im sorry but loved your reaction and glad that you’re starting to get the members names, we know it’s not easyxD
Please check "Getting Closer" ❤️
7:59 it's Seungkwan, he's a main vocal along with DK. Seungkwan's that guy in my profile pic :D
That man with holy vocals is Seungkwan!!
Please react to 'Getting Closer' by Seventeen !!!
you’re almost there !!! you got more than half of the members’ names correct !! haha the whole caratland is proud of you !!!
and yep just an opinion as a fan too, fear was top-notch and i love everything abt it overall (as always), but it’s not on top of my fave seventeen songs (which i tell you, there are clearly a TON)
this one also received little backlash from the general public of korea, but honestly it all boils down to different music style preferences,, which btw seventeen’s goal has always been clear and distinct - that is to produce their own music and own flavor without minding others + woozi particularly said that if there’s at least some people who love and got comforted by one of their songs, then their purpose as artists are already granted. (they are humble and simple-minded kings)
seventeen seriously is like no other in kpop, and the way they love their fans is just everything, it overflows the amount of love i thought existed on artists and fans.
i hope yall show them more love and recognition (which they really deserve)
SEVENTEEN FIGHTING 💯✨ and fighting to you as well !! love this channel
The fact that they created their own whole choreo for every single dance they have, impressed me every single time watching to them.
6:40 hahaha "of course is Mingyu" hahaha YESSSSSSS!
THE STAGE ON MAMA IT'S PERFECT!!!
