- Tiffany Young is an American singer. Born and raised in California, she was discovered by South Korean entertainment agency SM Entertainment at the age of fifteen and subsequently moved to South Korea.
WTH she grew up in the states and only learned Korean at age 16 so naturally she speaks English fluently
"English is not my talent Korean is"- hwang miyoung
no more other KPop Idol can beat her effortless English accent.
She doesnt have an english accent, she an american
She is american and there are idols with effortless accents too. AleXa, Day6 Jae, Mark from Got7, Jackson and Bambam too, BM, Ashley Choi, Amber, Ailee and there is even more
My top tree are
1) Jessi (she’s the badass even her speaking voice lol)
2) Rose’ (her Aussie accent always gave me chills)
3) Tiffany (American accent but so fluent)
These ladies were born out of Korea.
Except Sica, Jessi, Somi, Nancy etc etc jeez
Dont forget wendy red velved
“Your english is very good” the audacity of that man
Howie Mandell did not know she was American. I’m sure he assumed a girl group from Korea would all be Korean. Harmless, not audacious.
@@MC-xt6xf Reinforcing the perpetual foreigner stereotype is not "harmless," or have you not been following the rise of anti-Asian racism in the West during the pandemic?
@@newdawg100 That wasn't a "foreigner stereotype." He was meeting a celebrity from South Korea - it is natural to assume she was born there. It was evidence of poor interview preparation, but not "audacity" or "stereotypes."
@@wsol80 it’s literally a stereotype to thin all races that aren’t Alrt of America can’t speak English. Most countries even if English is the dominant language still ha etchings such as international schools were kids can go. So thinking just cause she’s Korean she can’t speak English even if she wasn’t form Amelia is really weird it’s not the fisrt time it’s happens
It happens to Felix if skz who’s literally from Australia he was told he has a nice biking accent when for one he’s fork Australia and for tow it wasn’t an English accent.
Same lethal Johnny of nct the host told him he spoke good English then Johnny literally told him “ I’m form Chicago “
This one pissed me off so bad , mark lee of nct who is literally one of the most well know Canadian idols was literally told his English is good after he literally told the host like 3 seconds prior to that connect that’s what form Canada born and raised in New York. So I’m confused on how they felt the Ned to tell him his English is good when it’s literally his mother tongue.
It’s so crazy to me bc all it takes is a quick search and you’ll find out the same tucking artist your interviewing is literally a foreigner who’s first fucking language is English. That’s lien telling a Korean there Korean is good. Or if these idols were to clap back and tell the host there English Is good they’d be in the wrong. Try these interviews can do it and we say kyung. Bulls hit. Ik tired of these interviews doing the literal bare minimum. Literally it takes one second to see what nationality or race they are. If you look up felix is says Australian singer , if you look up Johnny it says American singer , if you look up mark it says Canadian singer - songwriter. Ik confused on why they don’t this. It’s just weird and has happens way to many times. Anyway sorry for my typos it’s late.
@@newdawg100 Asians do literally exactly the same thing to foreigners in their country. Look at how Bahiyyih is treated by Koreans despite being a native Korean. Once again we are blaming a human trait on Americans alone. And I can tell you that Americans are vastly less xenophobic or racist than Koreans. Also, the “violence towards Asian Americans” in the US is quite overstated by the media. As in, less than 200 incidents in a population of 20 million alone, in a country of 300+ million. There are ignorant people everywhere.
Oh snap. Tiffany got to interview Tom Cruise? He's one of my favorite actors of all time. Lucky!
Also brad pitt
Tom hiddleston and brad pitt. This woman is winning in life and she's so succesful too
I love how the title referred to her English "ability" like she wasn't born and raised in California. Personally I think it's impressive that Tiffany still kept her Valley Girl accent after living in Korea for so long...
It's natural that her English is amazing, she is an American... Duh
It's her Korean you should praise I think 😂
Being fluent in korean is her ability, she is native english speaker!
It always makes me laugh when people get surprised about her speaking english fluently, I mean duuuuuuh she is from the USA, her first language is english. Like she said once, her korean is the one that is amazing.
so tom cruise and brad pitt got mesmerized by tiffany's beauty😍😍😍
I know, I'm so jealous
Tiffany's smile literally jsut melts hearts omg
I actually love her voice when she speaks english.. Its husky, witty and sexy at the same time.
I also love her korean accent its so cute and adorable how she pronounce the language. Hehe
Love you #tiffanyyoung 😍💖😘💗💐👑
@tiffanyyoung
@youngones
She is a born and raised American citizen to South Korean parents who lived and studied in US until 16 so duhhh English is her native language
Her Korean is the one that is amazing
She's a native it's not an ability
Andromeda T no it's not, she was raised in LA so she is a native speaker. Speaking your native language is not an ability.
The right is , Tiffany amazing Korean ,
Wkwk trueee. But she’s amazing and beautiful still
English is not her talent Korean is
This video title is low key insulting. Tiffany is American, born and raised in the States. Why wouldn't she speak good English? Asian Americans have been in the United States since the 1860s. Is it possible that many of us are native English speakers?
Happy birthday to Tiffany i hope she has a good time on her birthday!
her accent😭❣
What accent does she have ?
@@noodles-cl8sr She has that valley girl accent.
@@fangirlmode8705 no a valley girl is like Paris Hilton
Its not an ability. Its her native language, of course she is very fluent.
Tiffany's english is AMAZING😍😍love Tiffany😍😍
I mean she is an American sooooo
Tiffany's English ISN'T "amazing" for obvious reasons, but she's truly impressive in so many other ways...and how all the SNSD members work together and are such great friends ( and I include Jessica, despite the unfortunate professional 'estrangement' )while also always having their personal ambitions ( and doubts, too) and pursuing them while also being hugely successful as group in a very tough business, is what truly 'amazes' me.
Isn't amazing bcs she's native speaker :)
She's Korean-American. English being her first language
Guys no one said it's her ability we just find her accent sexy
I always love her english.music to my hear.fany unnie🖤💕
Wow Tiffany @ Tom cruise.. Shes so great in English..
She is american. English is her native language. Of course she's good at English
How come a born and bred American can speak English so well? What kind of black magick!! I’m shocked. 🦊
Yeah right, she's so gorgeous, wow
u are first who talk about this🤣🤣
I MISS YUU PANNNYYYY❤❤❤❤
Y’all do realize English is her first language
I love when Fany speaks english 😩😩😩😩
She’s korean american, born and grew up in the states, not a surprise her english is fluent
Wow me too, born in UK can speak fluent English, who knew!
bro, she's american, its obvious that she can speak english fluently
Tiffany it's legend
When you learn another language so well, your first language becomes an ability
0:41 Tiffany: speaks english
Eunhyuk: What is she talking about?
😂😂😂
Tiffany girl generations speaks fluent English.
彼女には歌の才能がある。
I think people aren't actually impressed by her english but are actually enchanted by her silvery gentle accent. Even if you could speak English fluently having a certain tone would really stand out to people alot more ♡
Her voice
i miss this HUHUHU
"Your English is very good" well of course it fucking is, she was raised in LA lmao
My bias🥰
U are so pretty
honestly why does it matters so much when a kpop star can speak fluent english..?
because it makes the chances of a western debut and communication much higher.
Nossaaaaa bateu uma saudade de Girl’s Generation
i.know it's not an ability.... but her english is so damn good just like americans
“Just like Americans” She IS American lol
she is american😃
SHE'S AMERICAN WDYM AHAHAHHWNWID
She literally interview both Lestat and Louis
This is so funny to me... English is her first language and yet people are so amazed.
edit: on the other hand, Tiffany interviewing Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt is a surprise I didn't know I needed.
some dont know it's her first language so that may be why, as well as how most kpop idols cant speak english as fluently as her (which is to be expected)
@@tamurayui3672 yes I understand, it's just a little funny is all :)
ayo she's american it's not an ability it's her 1st language-
She's American
“Amazing English” istg isn’t that actually racist??? She’s an AMERICAN and English is her FIRST LANGUAGE 😭😭😭 y’all are no different with the reporter who praised Mark’s English right after she asked whether he’s a Canadian or not☠️
you need to stop misappropriating "racist". they simply think she's homegrown korean, which is what the majority of members are and what anyone would think if they didn't know about Tiffany. and tbh, Jessica and Tiffany are the only ones with good English in the group- if they heard Tiffany for the first time and after all the others, they would react. it's only natural.
Naaaa gurl not everything is racist lol
stop throwing the word racist everywhere
🖤
Cooll
She’s literally American bffr
Your English is very good, it's supposed to be your Korean is very good
its not an ability..she grew up in the states thats why...why is english such a big deal in korea?i mean, most asian countries uses english as a second language..
People in comments not getting the humor in thr title.
lol She is American of course why are you talking about, people are surprised her korean is good, not her english 😂
She is american
She is American.....
of course her english is good, she's American =)))))))))
Your english is very good comments feel so insulting. The yts need to fucking stop
You need to chill out. The rest of the clip got cut off at the end. Howie Mandel was making a joke
this really isn't a racist thing, most of the others are born and raised in korea, it's only natural to assume they all are.
@@sgtmian Most foreigners speak English better than some natives, Soya’ll need to stop it with your bs. I grew up in the west and I still this get this comment. You’re not winning any points by these assumptions. So like, fucking stop?
her accent reminds me of wonyoungs
She's kind like Ronnie Anne from The Casagrandes.
Close your eyes..all i hear
is 100%pure white person
Speaking English.....WOW
....AMAZING, no accent
When she's speaking
ENGLISH..was TIFFANY
borned & raised in USA!??
She is born and raised in the United States. Basically, shes american with korean descent.
yeah she actually is
Why even make a clip about her english.. duhh
WTF!??
