Before you sell this should be at SEMA, very well built car
I absolutely love the amount of detail u put into these builds
i actually sometimes gives you shit on your cars..lol..but real talk u spent money on good quality parts..Thank u for showing ppl what it takes to build a car at that level..That's Reality. It cost money and the car hobby is a very expensive one..Good job!
OK I don't feel so bad about my Exige Rabbit hole bill anymore. Including the replacement cost for the motor plus 5 years of track use I think I'm still under your number! But wow yours is a fantastic build. That's mighty big of you to expose the true costs!
I would love to hear the reasoning behind every single part here and why it was picked instead of alternatives.
I'm surprised you didn't touch the oil pump. Nice build as usual.
Agate? Oh thats what Rudnik has been talking about
Nice Exige, thanks for uploading this!
Stoked that your making vids again....keep em coming!
I’d love to see you build an E46 M3. You honestly don’t f*ck around, which is what I like about your builds. Quality>quantity
Loopyspec I already did! Not to this extent, but still:
grandmighty.com/category/projects/m3/
So after knowing all this, the question remains... is there a car out there that performs close to what the Exige can do modified for similar or less money?
Dude it’s all a waste of time no way someone paid him 100k for his car talk about modding yourself out of price range BUT also might explain why he hardly drove it.. to flip it 🤷🏻♂️ all that money spend to not gain?
No
Seriously beautiful car, I admire your dedication and attention to detail, I love it! I’m working on saving for one of these but I expect it’ll have to stay stock for a while considering the costs. Either way great work now you can sit back in those Tillett B5’s and enjoy your hard work!
Q.U.A.L.I.T.Y.
You have more courage than me. I have a long on-going list for my NSX. I don't dare add a subtotal! haha
Holy crap no detail unturned! I have many of the similar stuff on my exige but my favorite upgrade oddly is actually the RLS convex mirrors....single most functional upgrade. Glws!
At first, I thought someeone was poppin' some skate tricks in the background :D ...dope af car, man. I didn't know the extent of just how cool it is. The build cost blew beyond even what I was expecting. You should keep it. This car is definitely a keeper.
Sound FX dawggg
YESSS finally thank you sooo much for the parts list!!! Going to do my best to replicate the look you have created with my s260 in the future
Dream streetable build!
Wondered what happened with you and this build.
I bought some of those aggots. Please give more tips!!!
Wow, only 105k? I'll take two! I'll use the other for a stocking stuffer.
You have great taste in mods
Love the honesty, it takes a lot build amazing cars!
Mad respect for your work!
That’s an amazing quality build. I didn’t realize it was so expensive! I hope it’s able to find a good home though I wish you’d hold onto these things for a bit lol. What’re you thinking about for the next project? I’m here sweating a few racks here and there on my TL & Accord, but you go whole hog with the mods. Really puts things in perspective lol.
Thanks for making this video, the sweat that went into it shows!
Awesome vehicle Eric and great attention to detail.
That list is massive the only thing you can add it more power.^^ Woud like to hear your opinion on the A052. I have only driven the A048 and Ferderal Semislicks.
Dream car 😍😍 definitely my next car I'm gonna pick up
This cars are definitely not cheap to build and not as easy to work on I know I own one but not as nice as yours. Your price is reasonable and good luck in the sale eventually you will find the right buyer.
Great video no time wasting and interesting. Sorry to say that 50k is to high, then again maybe it is easy for me to get one as I am from the UK. A good one is like 40K. Of course they go higher, but we are talking a 2007 version here.
One mod in im already like :0
Hows the experience with the Quantum Coil overs...Whats the spring rate...Is the car purely for road use ?
Hi There, love the Exige, I have an Exige S2 2006 myself, so been enjoying watching this, whats the BHP on here? Did you map or rolling road it?
Can I ask if you have a full list of your mods? Would like to follow some of them. I have a 2011 Exige.
Not sure if you mentioned the carbon centre mirror?
'Its important to stick to a budget'
Man I wish someone would have told me this before starting my engine swap
😆
I wish I told myself this before this Exige too, tbh
This is such a nice car and although yours has a lot of money put into it some parts are affordable for such a cool car
Would you ever do a R53 Mini Cooper s Build
Worth it
Wow beautiful car!
sick build
what is that thumping sound? You added that on purpose?
Beautiful car, adding up mod cost is ALWAYS depressing haha
WOW amazing job man chapeau
you should try zetiva as a drink. much better tasting
I don't know if you answered this but approximately how many man-hours did you have to put in this car? Were you working on it only on the weekends or..? It looks beautiful!
long hours on weekends, days off, Christmas break... probably close to 200 hours myself. I also work pretty slow and have to clean everything I disassemble so that definitely adds to the time haha
@@CornerBalanced That's dedication! Thanks for the answer, as you I also find the details to be very important. Keep up the great work, I love the end result!
Can you tell me where to buy the ProAlloy Intercooler Prop Relocation Bracket?
Shit dude that car is amazing. I would be too afraid to drive that car in the bay area or park it in the city!!! When are you bringing it up to sonoma raceway!
Damn.. $100k for a lotus? I respect the hell out of the build and how clean the car is, but that’s 991 GT3 Money, or CLEAN 930 Turbo money... etc, etc.
Elliot Davis that’s not the point, that’s like saying what if I didn’t build out this Exige, didn’t buy my G wagon, didn’t buy my Prius and bought a Lambo... also, it may be GT3 money, but then how much more will it be to upgrade said GT3?
Corner Balanced Very good points, I understand that building the car to most people is 90% of the fun. What’s next after the Lotus? 930?
Corner Balanced I’d like to know what you would upgrade on the GT3 tho?
Did you add tires to the cost?
Was it worth it thought? You can get some pretty nice cars for the final price.
For me, it's about the distinction of upgrading and modifying a car to my tastes that justifies the effort and costs. It's easy to buy a car off the lot and be done with it... but some are only content after the hardest path is taken. As rare as an Exige is, having something that is spec'd above and beyond a stock Exige makes the experience even more unique and worthwhile. Candidly, I did not anticipate needing to spend this much on the car. If I spent $20k less, the value would have been higher to me for the final price. But it wasn't done with $20k less.
Is boe still in business? Trying to get the torque 300 for some time now.
The real question is what you do for a living
Nice car well done.
I miss the random live streams!
me too!
My question is, was it worth it for you?
Have you seen that white s260 Roger Becker edition Lotus Exige forsale for $110k?
oof ouchie my wallet
WHAT A MONEY PIT!!!
You paid 250$ for a rear view mirror, that you can’t even use 💀
What hp is it at?
Dream car, but i DO NOT plan on spending that much lol.
Never the less great build, lots of quality parts.
How tall are you. Height limit w/ helmet?
Was this car sold yet?
Have you sold the car?
Dude, do you not pay any mortgage etc to be able to pay for all this stuff?
I actually want to make a video about this subject, but on the contrary side, I try to be as frugal and efficient with my money as possible in all other areas of life, in order to fund the evil that is prodigiously upgrading cars.
@@CornerBalanced That will make an interesting video.
He lives on a strict dry ramen noodle diet
it costs more than a c8 corvette😢😢😢😭
Nice car, but too much. How much was the air freshener if you don't mind telling us?
COFFEE COFFEE COFFEE
I want to build a 911 turbo 2008. Cost about 85k for the car and I added up about 25k and parts. wish me luck.
NeoAndersonReloaded go do God’s work my friend. I would also factor in at least a 20% buffer in addition to your 25k parts estimate.
2008 zx10 for about 4-6 grand depending on condition. Just saying
Gonna guess 90k
Sweet car but what you do for work, bro?? 😂
Lemme guess its fo sale now. Haha
Pffffffffffffffff I thought I took it far with mine but this is sick, wouldn't call it overkill but this is spread over years I presume or isn't it? 105000 is a lot, if you think about it now and about what else you can buy for that amount of money would you say it was worth it, I mean for that amount of money you have a second hand Porsche gt3 Which in all areas is a better car besides the experience being a little less raw.
8 months
Did you seriously say you would sell this car??? What the????
Montana plates 😉
Great attention to detail but do you really have to knock every time you mention a price, annoying!!!
See the thing is, after all these mods and paying a ridiculous amount if money is it even worth it? Personally I don’t think it is I’d much rather spend 100k on a Lambo
A lot
Randomly found your channel.. What's the 0-60 MPH on that beast and what's the HP
Could’ve bought another lotus :D
Zach B quality over quantity 😉
Lol at that intro!
I think I’ve tried those once. Same result lol.
Also this is a Super Street quality build, have you ever thought about having it featured in a car magazine if they even make them anymore? So much work into it I’m going to be a little sad when it sells. Hope you get to enjoy your hard work for a while at least.
@@nightowl8622 Thanks man! I actually did a shoot for Speedhunters a few months ago, just waiting for it to go up... someday soon
SLOW DOWN!
So sad you're selling.
Anyone got any duct tape for his mouth?
Why do you need to upgrade a car that has already been designed by ex F1 mechanics for the tack??
More money than sense
I’ll pay you $20,000 for it
Mmmmmm tell me more
first things first... don't ever use the word "guesstimation" ever again
