What are we watching, to see sentimental Irishmen, and women, and how affected they get by the pageantry of SEC football? There was a documentary by old boy, a British doc, Stephen Fry is his name, and he was getting all choked up, and overwhelmed by the spectacle and emotion of it all, and he was down on the field. All the tradition. I think it was Bama vs Auburn. The Iron Bowl. It is pretty potent stuff. Soccer's the greatest sport in the world. But there's nothing like American football though. It's in a class of its own. And I'll thrown in a shout out for Gaelic football, which looks very badass as well.
As a Iowa Hawkeyes fan I've been to the stadium and "The Wave" to the kids and their families in the Childrens Hospital behind the stadium is amazing to participate in. The entire stadium regardless of what team your a fan of participates. The second clip was the University of Tennessee and they were singing the song "Rocky Top" and the song part they do really loud have the lyrics: "Rocky Top, you'll always be Home sweet home to me Good ol' Rocky Top Rocky Top, Tennessee" College football is special as it's a school in your state that people get into since they are young. Grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters..they all get behind the same school. Usually. The tailgates are pretty legendary too depending on which one you go too. I've been to lots of games all over the country and some are better than others but it's always about who your with that makes the difference.
Good evening y'all. I hope you're well! College football is King in the US. Not just college football but collegiate sports in general. Not all states are big enough to support professional teams. However every state has at least one most have several college teams. The video you reviewed was not necessarily the best entrance video I've seen. However I can't really remember the name of the best one to watch 😁 college teams in America are broken up into conferences and divisions. D1 is the highest level college division. That is what all these teams were. Some videos you may want to react to if you're interested in college football and exactly how big it is. SEC (Southeastern conference) stadiums. College football entries What it's like to be a D1 college football player. (This will be a day in the life of a Oklahoma collegiate athlete) The Rock you're referring to is a tradition at Clemson University. It's over 50 years old and the players exit the locker rooms before the game load onto buses and they are transported around the stadium… the then enter from a raised level that is equal with the crowd touch the stone with their hand and then run down a ramp through the crowd onto the field. Every team has some type of tradition. Auburn has a live eagle that is trained to fly over the crowd and then come back to its handler. I am a huge Arkansas razorback fan that is what my profile is and we call the hogs. WOO PIG SOOIE .... GO HOGS!
Oh yeah I forgot I was going to mention to you that marching bands are a big deal. By far the best marching band is Ohio State University. They do crazy halftime shows you should definitely think about reacting to one of those videos. They are extremely popular. I'm a new sub by the way! 😀
I (Danielle) was actually in a matching band before, they are really fun to be apart of! College football seems amazing we would love to see a game one day ☘️
@@Unstable_TV then you should definitely check out Ohio State university's marching band it will blow your mind. My favorite is either the tribute to Michael Jackson or blockbuster movies. 😁
I'm a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. My son graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point. My son-in-law's brother graduated from the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis. My father earned his Bachelor's Degree from South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota, his Master's degree from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, and was the Dean of the College of Engineering and Science for the University of Colorado at Denver. My elder brother graduated from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, my younger brother from Wright State University in Ohio, and my sister from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, Colorado. My father-in-law earned his Bachelor's degree from North Dakota State University and his Masters degree from Purdue University. My youngest daughter, son-in-law and niece are graduates of the University of Texas San Antonio. My two eldest daughters graduated from Texas A&M University at College Station, Texas. All of this to say that I've been exposed to a wide variety of college football traditions, and they're all great--but NONE, absolutely NONE rival the traditions at Texas A&M, the Home of the 12th Man. There is no sporting event, college, pro, Olympic, that rivals a home game in Kyle Field at Texas A&M in College Station, and I know of no institution that has more meaningful traditions than Texas A&M University.
I live in Florida, and I think college football is way to hyped. People go overboard down here; I just don't get it. They make these student athletes into Gods. Just my opinion.
