Many people are stuck in their ruts of rap, rock, or whatever. It's such a pity that more people don't venture out to see and hear wonders like this one.
This cover is just so damn good!!! It sounds so sad and mournful, and I cry every time I watch it. Geoff just keep out doing himself with every cover he does!! Great reaction!!
The first 50 or so times I watched this I appreciated the vocals, beauty and artistry. Then I focused on the lyrics. Geoff gave just the right tone of resolution and tragedy. Great reaction!
You've seen these characters before in "Far Over The Misty Mountains Cold' that you reacted to about a year ago. It's the same four Hobbit characters from then, same costumes and makeup (with minor tweaks).
Watching you watch actually upped my enjoyment. It was so obvious that the song moved you as it did me. Thank you for reacting and especially for bringing this to others who might not see it otherwise.
I love so much of his work, but I just can't get this one out of my head! I joined his patreon and saw the behind the scenes. He did all of the filming and editing with just him and his wife! So freaking talented.
I have been following Geoff for over a year now, and I still have trouble wrapping my mind around the fact that it is just one man!
I am so glad you appreciate how lovely this is. There have been many covers of this, but the tragic emotion of this cover is so unique.
I find it very hard to keep the tears from falling on this one. It is just so gorgeous. Ut ‘tragic’ is really the best description.
Awesome reaction as always Salvo.
This has become my favorite song and video of his. Its so freaking beautiful.

03:00 SalvoG: "It almost sounded like he was going to go into a higher register...I was about to lose it there for a second."
Geoff: Hold my ale.
Don't you just love it when you get the geoff giggles? 😂 I love the songs where he shows his incredible range. He's just so talented

Ohhh... I've seen this guy before...unreal. Love your channel. Seeing music etc I never would otherwise. Thank you.

Great reaction!
I have heard the Ed Sheeran version previously. But this was utterly amazing! I am so glad you introduced this to us.

Lovely reaction. Thank you.
That has to be one of his best, and he’s done some tremendous songs. I think these dwarf characters really are a good fit for his voice and acting.

Beautiful! I see 🔥
I feel bad for people who don't listen to music like this. They are missing out on such great talents
It’s so beautiful!

Bullshit ED Sheeran is the Best the Orginal

good reactn
It is a different version but it first came out with the Lord of the Ring Trilogy. I know I have it in my iTunes.
How creative is this... the snare drum sound is actually two shovels. One hitting sand, the other dirt.
Yep. That's some down low tones. Fits well with LOTR imo.
ED Sheeran sing this better,he is the Icon, not the Cover
Janet Devlin's cover is worth a listen too.
