I'm kind of happy we lost because it gives a reality check to all of the USC fans. But at OU, you guys did the same thing, you guys praised Lincoln when he was at Oklahoma. If USC struggled at ND in October, wait until they join the Big Ten and have to travel to Penn State, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio State in November/December. Everyone knows that when the weather starts to get cold, the team that’s more physical usually win. I am not saying that USC is going to struggle in the Big Ten, but the day of having dam near perfect football weather in October, November and December are over.

When your offense puts your defense inside the red zone on most on 3 of those possessions and gives the ball back to the other team 5 times, you don't deserve to win the game. This result is a long time coming. LR has a culture problem.

It comes down to USC's OL being trash, and ND having really good CBs which led to Caleb Williams getting harassed and forced into 3 turnover on the wrong side of the field. USCs defense didn't play that poorly overall, they were put into bad situation after bad situation because ND dominated them in the trenches and forces them to make mistakes

Good defenses can stop or hold points on turnovers. Bad defenses get rolled over.

I'm a huge Notre Dame fan. But I think this game was more about USC than Notre Dame. Way more. They got some serious issues. Notre Dame needs to get the offensive line straight now. And get some speed at receiver. And we got that coming next year. It's already in the bank. But USC I don't know what they need to do.

Ya got that wrong, I think the D did ok, better than expected. All those turnovers came from ND camping in their backfield. Lincoln needs something that resembles an Oline.
When your offense puts your defense inside the red zone on most on 3 of those possessions and gives the ball back to the other team 5 times, you don't deserve to win the game. This result is a long time coming. LR has a culture problem.

It comes down to USC's OL being trash, and ND having really good CBs which led to Caleb Williams getting harassed and forced into 3 turnover on the wrong side of the field. USCs defense didn't play that poorly overall, they were put into bad situation after bad situation because ND dominated them in the trenches and forces them to make mistakes
