    Your video was excellent and very easy to follow, hear. I didn't feel overwhelmed watching it, but more so inspired to do the custom pop I want to create. I have a question in regards to how you create your design on the computer. Where do you find or get the blank Funko pop canvas to upload into your program? Like, I want to do something for the Morton Salt Funko and I'm curious what photo I should use to create my design for that. Any suggestions?? I can't wait to watch more of your videos! Great stuff!

    This video is FANTASTIC!!! You are so talented!!! I've been wanting to make my own Funkos for a while but planned on using air hardening clay as I find polymer clay too hard (literally, lol) to work with. Do you heat up your clay to soften it and then use it in your pasta roller?

    • @ScribbleFix
      @ScribbleFix  3 роки тому

      Awww thanks so much! I find fimo to be the hardest but sculpey can be pretty soft! You can use some things like baby oil to soften it too, and I believe fimo can be softened with a bit of water (not too much though) and yes warmth can soften it up as well. Hope that helps!
      Also if you dont want to use polymer, ive had some success with apoxie sculpt!

      there is 2 things you can do. you could slightly sand the fimo after it dried, before you paint it, than the paint has some crevesis to hold on to. second, you have to use some kind of sealent after the paint has fully dried. i personally perver mr super clear uv resistant or not. i hope this helped and good luck

      Its been a while since i made this so i cant remember, but for skin I usually go a mix between all 3 primary colours, OR i mix two complimentary colours together like red and green, and then I adjust it to make it the correct warmth and add a bit of white to lighten it if i need.
      However these days I prefer to buy a premixed tube of the skin colour i want as then i dont have to mix more and match the right colour which can be difficult 😊

    what do you recommend for when making glasses for a character. Not sure if i should use wire for support or if its unneccasry

    • @ScribbleFix
      @ScribbleFix  3 роки тому +1

      Hmm yeah thats a tricky one, depends how thick you want the glasses to be, but thin clay has a chance of breaking easy.

      @@ScribbleFix yeah her glasses are thin framed. A bit thicker then yours. I was thinking using wire as a base and then wrap clay around it and shape the glasses. i could also use wood, but i have a feeling it wont hold up.

      @@devynthecatwithsocks9010 wire could work! Use something strong that wont bend too easily and use pliers to bend it. and then thicken with clay, i think that would be better than just using clay.
      I wish i had a 3d printer because that could also be useful for making small delicate details, but those cost $$$$

      @@ScribbleFix ahhh yes i would use 3d printer sooo much if i had one. I could also use a 3d pen and then sand it down. hmmmmm decisions

    I have just one question.
    Can you bake multiple Funko’s in the same oven, say three? Or will they not bake evenly?

      Ah, thank you for responding!
      That’s good..! I really want to do them at the same time, there’s other people in my household so I don’t want to hog the oven for too long - -;
