Rain Country family, let's do everything we can to get Heidi and Mr. Rain to 1 million subscribers. I see over 600 people have seen the video when I was watching, but only 300 gave her thumbs up, shared, or made a comment. Thumbs up is so easy, and you don't have to comment, but you can give her a smily face, a heart, something to help her push her videos to more people.
Call out those haters! The gleam in your eye made me giggle and the glasses were priceless! Keep doing the amazing things you do because there are way more people that love you and the knowledge you share! I look forward to your videos daily. Hugs!

I can't understand why people would hate your channel!! At least they're doing good for your channel by boosting numbers. Always see the positives 😂 your make-up looks beautiful. I had no idea you could use mica powders to use as make-up. I have a lot for crafts (ive been meaning to do epoxy resin)
Thank you, Heidi, for more good information on Mica Powders. Sometimes we need to be snarky and call out people and do it in the name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST! Heidi, as a diabetic I can use the honey better! I can't us maple syrup as that sure raises my blood sugar! people need to test it out and use very lightly. I can't use Stevia as it upsets my stomach and I use the plant. Love your Rooster! I listen to my Roosters all the time and it is so refreshing. Thank you, Heidi, for another great video.
Another wonderful video! I am really looking forward to your in- depth video on Mica powders. Like you I threw out my Avon and Mary Kay years ago. I have tried a few natural make up companies, but they are very expensive. I honestly can’t understand how on earth you would have haters. You are always teaching us and trying to help us with a genuine heart. I have noticed though that this world is getting darker as the scriptures do tell us, Matthew: 12 “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” Thank you for all you and Mr. Rain do . 💕
As my daughters grow up and become interested in makeup, I have found mica powders to be so helpful. I can make them makeup without all the crazy and harmful chemicals. A little goes a long way. I have made them such pretty lip glosses. They like to help me and they choose their own colors to combine so it's also fun for them and at the same time, they are learning. I just make a lip oil and add a pinch of mica. So simple. And if you add a little beeswax, you can make a more solid product, like a chapstick but with color. Even just adding mica to coconut oil is enough and it is nourishing to the lips. I always add castor oil to my blend. We all enjoy it.
I use my homemade skin cream also as a lip balm. When I want color, I put that on my lips first and add the mica powders lightly over the top. It surprises me how long they hold
Thank you Heidi! Great way to turn lemon into lemonade with those haters and those who don't do their own research or have personal experience. 😄 Did you get a rooster? I love that happy sound!🙂 Thanks for reminding me again to make cleaning vinegar! Gosh! I need to put it at the top of the to-do list! 🥴 Blessings always! 💜
Yes, we have a rooster now and he is so big and pretty. I will be doing an update on him soon. I am also planning on incubating eggs soon as a result :)
@@RainCountryHomestead This brings to mind that, with chicks, of course, they sell more females. Back in the day, we could buy capons in the grocery store. I haven't seen them for years. 🤷♀️

Good morning Heidi, on the mica powders that's an idea for homemade makeup. I only use foundation when I go out,not when I'm home. But great idea. On the gluten free bread I have a really good recipe for ya,I will email u the recipe. I use it all the time, and gf pizza too, anyways great show, and have a great day.
Yes, I know there are a lot of recipes out there but I am very much the kind of person who likes to create her own. part of it is that it forces me to learn more about how different things work and from there also be able to know what modifications I can make according to what i am suing it for
Honey is usually extracted in stainless Steel extractors (unless you do it manually with your bare hands) and strained in stainless strainers. At least that’s what mine is. So even if you buy it in a jar, it has likely been in stainless steel. Which is perfectly fine.
First of all, nice sunglasses - your future's so bright, you gotta wear shades! (might be dating myself with that old song). Secondly, you mention of how many metals there are made me curious so I did a search - didn't find a definitive answer, but based on a periodic table I found, if I read it right there are about 75...I believe that's straight metals, not alloys, but I could be wrong....and since I'm not a science geek, I may have read the periodic table wrong too, but it looked to me like 75-ish.
Trolls everywhere! Keep doing YOU...which I'm sure you will. I'm so excited for the mica video. I rarely where makeup anymore, but as I'm transitioning from coloring my hair to letting it go gray, I believe I may want to have some options for makeup. I actually wish I had never started covering the gray to begin with. I do use a more natural coloring product, but it's still not good for your health. Note: I started graying shortly after high school, so it was easy to develop that habit. And then I used the excuse that I was an "older" mom. Now I just need to bite the bullet I guess. Thanks again for the great content! God Bless!!
Fun tip I will give away here: You can brush the mica powders of any color into your grey hair just for fun to add some crazy or natural highlights and it will hold most, if not all of the day ;)
@@RainCountryHomestead THAT is cool! I was looking at the mica's last ngiht. Gonna have to give it try. And now you are getting me into yet another thing....haha

There is a surprising amount of people who think that honey contains no sugar because it does not come from the sugar cane plant. There are SO many "sugar-free" recipes that use honey instead and when questioned why the authors claim it was sugar-free, every author says "Oh, i don't see that as sugar." This is why chemistry and nutritional science classes are essential in high school. Dates, honey - two of THE most highest sugar content natural foods - they don't see as sugar. It's appalling, and can be fatal if someone is new to mandatory no-sugar diet and trying to research what substitutions they can use.
I find it odd as I know we learned that at a young age. Sugar is sugar whether it comes from sugar beets, sugar cane, honey, maple syrup, coconut, fruit, et cetera. Some is healthier of course, but to a diabetic, it needs to be seen as all the same.
@@RainCountryHomestead Yeah, same, I learned that in elementary school, and through a Food Pyramid lesson. I genuinely wonder whether any actual education is taught in schools anymore.
