Hey Coop - wow so nice to see you on again. Really like all the different vids angles you have on, especially the water level ones showing the red swimming away is nice, it really never disappoints. Also the artificial mullet was knocking them out. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into these vids. Take care and keep them coming.
The Man in Black strikes again! Coop, You’re making me envious you know that right! What’s the Sheeper report saying? Might have take the two hour trip south as the weather is looking a lot better!
Usually during the sheepshead are pretty good during winter. Have not been to the jetties in a week or 2 but seeing them around hard structure inshore.
I've had luck fishing color change behind the houses heading north on the Intercoastal. Just cruise and look for bait and activity. That's the best fishing in the world man! Have fun, jealous.
I saw the video and was impressed with it. Enough to fully go into it just to click like. Thank you for posting videos that are letting me learn how to fish.
Great video Coop. Love the tailing reds. The 20" to 24" are my favorites for dinner plates. The bigger are great fighters but I would rather keep the slot reds on the lower side 😊
Dude ive been fishing there for 40 years. Root Beer Glitter Flake with a Chartreuse Tail ....anything that wiggles catches fish from Mud Island to The Land Cut. I was just catching flounder and trout all along the ICWs in about 4 ft of water ....
I have watched your videos for several years. This video with the NLBN was very informative. I am interested trying them. What is the best way to retrieve this swim bait? Keep up the good work.
The UA-camrs I follow outta Pensacola....@AnglerUpWithBrant and @BeardedBrad....both have been using the NLBNs for a while. That and the Slam Shadys. Great video again bro....warmer days right around the corna'!!!!!!!!!!!!
coop, congrats on 285k. Question sir, you always plug different fishing items and excuse my lack of memory but what kind of sun glasses do you reccomend? I havent see you suggest any. My fishing buddy got a $200+ pair and they barely beat out my Stripes pair I got for $20 lol thanks in advance and tell Spook i said 👻
Can this (red fish) be caught from land ? I’m new to this I will be hitting the jetties or whatever there called lol in 2 weeks for sheepshead I’m so excited
Does it come in other colors? In all my years fishing in and around Tampa Bay white has NEVER been successful for me. Even when Salt strong had the slam shady they were also white.. I had gotten a bunch of them.. but never have any luck wit h them. Now I can use similar Zman paddle tail in New Penny and kill it all day. White for some reason doesn't fit in with the background of the water color here
Okay I see a camera pole. Could I wade without wade boots and rays this time of year? How often do you encounter rays? Thanks a Minnesota fisherman headed south next week
Wear stingray protection. Without doubt they’ll be laying in the dirt and you won’t see one until you feel one. Coops been stung, I’ve been stung, almost every fisherman that does much wading has been stung down here, and they hurt. I won’t get in that water without stingray boots anymore, but if you do, do the Texas shuffle. Don’t pick your feet up, slide them
Thanks good to know. I will have to look for a pair when I am down there the only kind of fishing boots in Minnesota stores right now are for ice fishing
Honestly most people don't wear stingray protection but for people that have wade fished many years they have been stung at least once. I stepped on a stingray one time but luckily I had stingray resistant boots. That being said during winter, waders are a must.
It's kinda bad to have the boat in front of you because it could spook fish or the fish could go around the wrong side but at 9:48 I casted the wind at my back and still got a fish.
@@ThresherFishing I gotcha… I think my main issue ended up being having another rod in the kayak so it was really in the way trying to fish around it. I guess there’s not much you can do besides either leave it there or work into the wind a bit
What happened to @TexasRedfishHunter? Now new content in over a year? Don’t want to unsubscribe but used to really like his stuff and I know you guys filmed a few times together. Hope all is well!
Thanks amigo for keeping your videos clean (language). Love watching your channel with my kiddos. right on 🤙
Best damn channel for Texas fishing. Thanks. Keep going.
Killer day on the water. Keep em coming.

Headed down this week for a couple of days out of Port A.
Wade fishing vids are my favorite!
Check out Texas Wade Fisherman. All wading videos.
What a beautiful day.

Your area is coming up soon!
Sheepers!
Your content is the best keep being awesome my dude.
Great video Coop
Going down to fish South Padre this week. Getting last time tips. Your videos are great. What is the white pole trailing you as you wade?
I've had luck fishing color change behind the houses heading north on the Intercoastal. Just cruise and look for bait and activity. That's the best fishing in the world man! Have fun, jealous.
The PVC is just something I cant stick in the ground for another camera. But the camera didn't want to work this day.
I saw the video and was impressed with it. Enough to fully go into it just to click like. Thank you for posting videos that are letting me learn how to fish.
I think I’ve been watching you for about 7 years now bro
Damn my man!
Great video Coop. Love the tailing reds. The 20" to 24" are my favorites for dinner plates. The bigger are great fighters but I would rather keep the slot reds on the lower side 😊
Loving your catch and release style on that 24 incher. You make my day Coop.
Intentional. Let em go let em grow.
Have had very similar results with Down South Bone Diamond in that area! My house in the background of the opening shot😉
I like the bone diamond dsl as well.
Dude ive been fishing there for 40 years.

Awesome action - it’s crazy how shallow you are finding the reds - tight lines- PuraSal Angler 🙌🏻
Awesome day Coop!
My favorite angler to watch!
Man what a session! Cool video man🔥
Oh.....and LOOOVE the skinny water wade fishing. That's gotta be the thinnest water I've seen ya in in a long time.
Can’t wait to hit the coast this weekend
Awesome content coop! You had an awesome day on that salt.
I have been watching your videos for several years. What retrieve would recommend too use the NLBN swim baits. Keep the videos coming.
Try fishing a pickle kick/kicker fishing and a mc swimbait slug that will change redfish fishing.
Another great video! Thanks for sharing!
Don’t forget to retie your lures after a few catches lifting them up like that coop!
Any chance you can give a description at the end of your videos of what Rod and tackle you using ? Love your vids bro keep at it
Thanks for the solid content, as always brother.
Unbelievably calm conditions , I would have had to throw top water at the end , just to see if there was any takers !
Nice catches, Coop.
Beautiful Video Bro. Keep living the dream!
You tore em up Coop!👍
I went fishing the other day .nothing but a 16 inch speck and a bunch of hard heads you had better luck then me 👍
Keep doing your thing! Your videos are great!
Coop should definitely do viewer guided trips. I volunteer as a test run😂
Insane shallow water action bro 💯🔥🎣🙏🏽⛽️🤙🏼
Awesome day on the water bro! love the content
Good job mate!
I’ve never seen this type of boat before, it looks like a neat setup. What is it called and how’d you like it?
Yo Coop, good stuff as always.
“Yeah I wanted to release that guy “ had me crying 😂
Is it the banjo minnow??? Just started the video we shall see...
I think I might have seen you out there that day Sunday? Fished all the cuts by the marina on the left and right side and had zero luck 😒
Bro! What was up with that initial retrieve? Ha! Good stuff as always but that technique had me cracking up.
Cheers Cooper
I’m from Wharton tx ! Do a lot of fishing in matagorda. Love whatching your videos.
Bro, you got on em! 🤙🏽
Yeeeww! Nice, Coop.
BTW, what waders do you use if you don't mind me asking?
Nice fish!!! Got your tree up early this year?
Great video!
See ya Coop! Get'em!
Good instruction and fun.
New subscriber. Great video. Why the long tube hanging off your belt ?
Nice to see them bitting again!
The reds at the jetty were crushing 8 inch NLBN’s hooked a 48+

Nice reds
What motor are you powering the boat with?
Love your channel. I would love to buy a fish or two off of you. I'm land locked and never had sea fish other then the basic ones everyone eats. 😊
Cool
Good work coop.. specs on rod plz? Med, fast, reg? 7' or 7'6"?
Daiwa Isla 7' medium light
Can this (red fish) be caught from land ?
I’m new to this I will be hitting the jetties or whatever there called lol in 2 weeks for sheepshead I’m so excited
What reel are you using ?
I like to try a baitcaster
Where do you get these mullets from?
They're from NLBN lures
That mullet is really designed to be fished on a worm hook but aye if it works 😂.
What brand of waders you use?
These are Academy brand. I just needed a cheap pair. I would buy simm's but they have been getting more and more expensive.
Does it come in other colors? In all my years fishing in and around Tampa Bay white has NEVER been successful for me. Even when Salt strong had the slam shady they were also white.. Always catching more than Drew 😂
My man setting hooks like somebody hurt him.

Good to see someone is fishing and catching! Unlike, THIS caballero writing this. 😢
2and
Were those artificials NLBN?
Do you have to cast into the wind with the boat tied to you? Tried this with the kayak and that seemed the only way to do it
It's kinda bad to have the boat in front of you because it could spook fish or the fish could go around the wrong side but at 9:48 I casted the wind at my back and still got a fish.
@@ThresherFishing I gotcha… I think my main issue ended up being having another rod in the kayak so it was really in the way trying to fish around it. I guess there’s not much you can do besides either leave it there or work into the wind a bit
