The folks who were still alive at the end of the various fights got out. You didn’t do anything wrong in that respect.
If you had reached the temple of Umberlee before doing the Iron Throne you would have the quest Avenge the Drowned, which if you turn the inventor of the submarine over to them, they give you the blue scale robe, which gives you hit points on water and create/destroy water as a cantrip
Good job with the foundry, Whimsy! All the Gondians escaped that didn't die in battle. You can watch them run for the door if you look back at the video.
You are only 2 maybe 3 episodes from being done at this point! I imagine Gortash will be the next episode and then whatever is left you could break up into 2.
For the loose ends:
- Arfur is awaiting you at Sharess' Caress standing at next to the stage. In ep. 38 you saw him but never talked to him because you were a bit distracted by the twins. :)
- Dribble's hand is very hard to see! You don't find it at a murder scene like the rest of the body. It is out in the open hiding near a tent.
I just finished my first Honour Mode yesterday and it was amazing! I highly recommend it and hope to watch you try it someday. It takes the game to a whole different level.

Out of all my play throughs I've only managed to save all of the Gondians once, and that was more luck than anything else. You did really good. You may want to have a look at the bow that you looted from the titan 😁
Viconia was a party member in the old baldurs gate games thats why Minsc says she was once a friend.
I could save a few more people in my second playthrough and playing in normal. However you saved the "main" one I guess?
But you did Shart's fight first try and that one is for many one of the hardest fights in the whole game!

Your Playthrough is the best! I love how detiled you are
The fight itself is not really hard, the only difficulty lies in saving some or all of the Gondians. These behave erratically and sometimes a bit suicidal.
The game also makes no difference if you save everyone or not - you already got the perfect ending of the quest line (which is hard to do because it starts way back in act 1 at the Windmill and you need to do everything right in each and every act)
So you are being overly critical of yourself - you played very well and got an excellent result.
just a little explanation about dragon & dragonborn. Dragon can shapeshift in to any humanoid as they like, not necessary as dragonborn. however for bg3, I think they purposely did that to make audiences who aren't familiar with the background know that's a disguised dragon.
it is very difficult to save all gondians, too many, too weak, enemies too strong, no need to be mad :)
So much homework to do: cleaning, dishes, etc. But thank Whimsy, a new video! So can leave homework! =P

I‘m wondering if you discovered Jaheiras house already? There are some really lovely szenes and dialoges.
you might want to check the legendary bow from the titan steelwatcher, arfur and dribbles are not very important sidequests, can be skipped, there is no better way to destroy the foundry, they did not all explode (even if it does not explicitly say so), wrong vibe, you and Toobin escaped, so all the others should have too :)
Heh, I did this so differently.. sneaked with Astarion, planted the bomb, sneaked away. 5min, no fights. LV10.
You missed a place in the temple. Just saying.
You did great, Gondian families were saved from the Iron Throne and now from Steel Foundry, its just the quest conclusion is poorly written and ambigous, that gets into everyone

I went to the Steel Foundry before going to the Iron Throne and the prisoners wouldn't fight on my side.
I'm sure there is a way to rescue them all, but I think you still did a great job! Especially against that big robot! Seems like you're speciality is more in destroying things than rescuing.
