I’m in progress with this quilt and would say it’s the most challenging quilt I’ve done in the 25 years I’ve been quilting. It’s so worth it, I love this pattern!
Kimberly...I love to watch your sewing and cross stitch projects. It is very inspirational!! Square in a square is my favorite foundation paper piecing . I find them so hard to do otherwise. Thanks for all your hard work and generosity!
I missed the live stream and SO enjoyed watching a replay. I don't know anyone who gets as much done as you do, Kimberley. An amazing body of work -- so beautifully done -- is truly inspiring.
Congratulations to Christopher!🎉 An exciting day for The Jolly Family! Thank you for showing us all that you have been working on. The low volume quilt looks amazing! I think my favorite foundation papers are the 6" log cabin. I used them for the first time when you and Lori Holt did that Friendship Quilt. One of my favorite QAL. Wishing you and your family a happy and safe vacation!
I love the square in a square block paper pad you sell. Thank you Kimberly for sharing your yearly progress and all the new fabric that is coming out this year. Have a great summer.
So far my favorite foundation paper is the vintage kite. I would never ever have attempted a block like this without it. I still can’t believe I made a block this intricate. Thank you so much for your tutorials, I’m not sure I would have attempted this block even with the foundation paper without your guidance.
Doug's quilt is beautiful! (Hope you had a Happy Birthday Doug!) I love using foundation papers! Flying geese is probably my favorite - everything ends up so precise and perfect!
It amazes me how much you get done in your quilting and still have time for all your family functions.😊 My favorite foundation paper is the Log Cabin. I used it to make my niece a queen size bed quilt for her wedding gift. She loved it.❤
My favorites are the triangle on a roll papers. I want to try the kite foundation papers too. I missed the live stream as I was cleaning house. My daughter is coming home this weekend for my birthday! First time in ten years since she's been here on my special day. Congratulations to Christopher on his graduation! You are just such a special Mom. Have fun on your vacation. We'll miss you.
Congrats to Will. I hope you all are taking these few weeks as a family vacation. HST is probably the best that I have used. I haven’t used them all but I like this one.
Today was wonderful! Had a busy day but couldn't go to bed without watching my favorite so I am watching at 11:30 pm. Doug Leko is amazing! All the quilts were wonderful. Makes me want to sew all the time. You are my inspiration! So excited for Christopher, hope you share pictures when you get back from vacation. Hope you have a ton of fun. You, Kevin and the kids deserve this time together. Kimberly I have to admit, I haven't used any paper piecing yet because I just don't know which one to start with. I really like the kite quilt you did. Is that a good one to start with? Emma will be fine, I was a sassy teen also a really long time ago. Will is awesome, doing a good job! See you in two weeks, now go and have some great family time!
I have used all of the sizes of your triangles on a roll which are so terrific for preciseness. Also I so enjoyed the "Best Friends" sewalong which used a combination of foundation papers. They were all fun to use but I think I liked the pineapple papers the best. Wish you would do another sewalong like that! Thanks
Have a wonderful vacation, congratulations to your son, Christopher on his graduation. I asked for a sewing machine for my 33rd anniversary which is today, so I am new to sewing, I haven't used any of your foundation papers but I hope to learn to sew some pillows and I have ordered some of your panels and backing fabric. Thanks! Janine
My favourite paper is the block in a block. It’s a very versatile block. I love all the paper but block in a block is my favourite. Congratulations to Christopher on his graduation. Enjoy your well earned vacation!! 🥰🇨🇦
I just love, love the log cabin foundation papers. But definitely have all the half square sizes. Just makes it so easy for these common blocks. Oh and the flying geese. Love the flying geese!!!
Great Livestream. I am so impressed that you have so many projects in process. I have trouble completing that many open at once. I'm currently using the vintage kite papers and loving how easy they are. Have a wonderful vacation!
Happy Graduation to Will! Hope it was a memorable day for your family. You always show us so many fin new ideas!! Thanks for your dedication to your customers Kimberly!
Congratulations Christopher on your graduation! Have a wondeful vacation! I have not used foundation paper but I love how the scrappy kite quilt is turning out and I'd really like to try it.
Congratulations on your son's graduation!! I think my favorite foundation paper is the kite, but the economy block comes in second. Enjoy your vacation!!
The only paper I have tried is the half-square triangle paper and I LOVE it!!! I would love to do more paper projects. Congratulations to the graduate. (Never apologize for being a great mom. We all understand 100%). Have a great vacation Kimberly and thank you so much for all the great videos.
Great Live show today. I now have new quilt projects added to my excessively long list. My most used foundation paper is FQS's Square in a Square paper. I believe I own all of the sizes you offer. I still need to build my stock of your Triangles on a Roll paper. Can't wait to see what's in the 2023 Liberty Box. It's always such a special surprise when it arrives.
Congrats Will, appreciate your eye for color. My current favorite foundation paper is square in a square 4 inch, I cannot do that block perfectly without it.
I am not doing the pressed flowers project, however, Thank You FQS team for making the optional color guides. I am just learning how to use foundation papers, to me the process is backwards. However, I love the accuracy I get. I am using Triangles on a roll for a couple of projects, and have used to flying geese and square in a square papers. I love the look of your Kite quilt using the papers. Hope you have a fun vacation with your family.
I am new to foundation paper and am actually in need of the courthouse steps but my favorite right now has to be triangles on a roll. I have struggled with making accurate HST and the triangles on a roll has made such a difference and really makes me a more confident quilter in my abilities as I continue to learn. I am actually going backwards and doing free patterns that you have had in the past and have learned so much from you. Thank you for all you do!
Kimberly you are amazing with amount of stitching you get done. I love the foundation papers. I’ve used triangles on a roll, flying geese and now the vintage kite papers. I love how everything thing comes out perfect. Have a great vacation you deserve it.
I really enjoy using It's So Emma Economy Block foundation paper. I hadn't ever made an fpp block before and it made it very easy. Thanks for the video and congrats to the new grad🎉
