I've made the mistake of spending a few hours of of my life listening to discussions that include Andy and have never heard him say anything that was even slightly intelligent.
I used to hate destiny and was on andy's side about 2 months ago. But I realized that he and the other youtubers who he usually hangs around are pretty stupid and some of them shitty people. People believe the things about destiny because it gets perpetuated by these high sub youtubers and the fans don't have the time or the patience to scroll through destiny's videos or dig too much to see if it's true or not, so they just believe what these youtubers say, because it is easier and faster. Also it may be that because people get blocked by emotions of hatred towards destiny because it's popular or some other reason, they don't really listen to what he says.

I had a friend that was happy, employed and a very out going person. He offed himself, leaving a note that it was his decision and he just couldn't be bothered anymore. Suicide isn't black and white.
Also I work with a woman who's husband killed himself. They were married for like 40 years, had children, both had stable jobs and he showed absolutely zero signs of it - according to her - and one day she came home and found him swinging from a tree in her garden. Apparently he expressed being very happy.
I don't know what happened with "Wilco", and I'd love you to elaborate, but I'm sure you'd be sat here saying Destiny said the wrong thing and that's why he killed himself, had he tried. There is no winning, suicide is rarely something that happens SPUR of the moment - it is something that builds over several years and is usually done with a relatively "calm/rational" mind.

In fact this is a trend in some big companies because of the increased importance of information and certain people with certain skills and experiences that they want to keep. Making them shareholders as a sort of insurance to make them stay. However, it is a very selective trend and doesn't apply to nearly all sectors or even the majority of one sector I'd argue.
In fact, there has been an increase in workers exploitation when it comes to industries where the most valuable/profitable cuts you can do is towards workers. And where machination isn't the most profitable option. Manufacturing of clothes is a good example.
I think what you have in mind is something close to a sort of German model? Which I would think (I am not sure) could work, but it doesn't apply to the very basic of work. Not to mention the problem between full time and part time employment.
Capitalism is not inherently bad but parts of its tenents have undesirable results such as this workers exploitation in relation to the means of production. Which I think is why people get so defensive about it. It is quickly associated with the taking away of private property when in actuality, like you correctly pointed to, is to protect the private property of your labour. So instead of a capitalism vs collectivism debate, a more wholesome discussion would be about what the meaning of private property should entail. Or would you phrase it differently?

And I would like to see that happen, the trend of a sort shared ownership or parttaking that benefits the workers labour. But sadly that is just one train and there is another big one going in the other direction. Exploitation is rising, along with human trafficking which have some of the most depressing trends of all.
Many poor and disadvantaged people in Germany are also getting bad quality care in terms of health. Which I have anecdotal evidence for but the options they have are next to nothing.
I guess I am more of a pessimist in this sense but I do really really agree that it is complicated. The one thing I'd do advocate for is more worker's rights since they have been left out of the loop of global trends while companies have increased power over them. A power imbalance I'd like to see corrected for the future. I also agree that direct or total ownership of any sort is not good but that'd depend on the sector. For example, more state control on some sectors more than others like health care and not to mention railroads.

Otherwise, there will be no balance between the right of doing the best of oneself and a duty to community (which I would say is more than just not exploiting [insert am I not merciful meme here]). Because people are right now not in a position to either right nor responsibility to nearly the same degree.
I guess I am a little bit more radical in that sense, but I think that is needed so to not accidentally maintain the status quo in terms of change/progress.

Japan is possibly the most racist country in the world, not just by immigration. But, they do not allow like any immigration, and they are on an island far from land, so they do not have to deal with any land-based illegal immigration making it even easier to uphold their strict policies. I just looked at Poland’s GDP and GDP per capital growths and they have stagnated for about a decade which is also shit, and they’re even in the EU which gives them some of the greatest trade opportunities in the world. Meanwhile, America, one of the most diverse nations in the Western world, is arguably (and I think, personally, unarguably) one of the greatest nations in the entire world. I’m gonna be a bit biased here, but our history is rich and full of self- and external-overcomings, our constitution may be the greatest of all time, we are the oldest and longest lasting superpower, and so much more. We’ve had our flaws lately, specifically our economic recession in 2007 and foreign affairs in the Middle East, but I am nevertheless optimistic for our future.
To say that Tibet has killed millions in order to establish an ethnostate is wildly misleading - and I’m guessing done in bad faith. First, it is generally considered that 1.2m Tibetans died at the hands of Chinese invasions and occupations during the 20th century, all in Tibet itself (many calling it an attempt of genocide by the Chinese. Tibetan independence is an insanely nuanced issue about sovereignty from China and is not about creating an ethnostate. It’s about recovering a state that was messed around by English imperialism and Chinese conquest).
On affirmative action, I think it’s a good idea but not executed well. Yes, it’s kind of _de facto_ racial. It was set about originally to help uplift the black community post-Jim Crow which had been disenfranchised and economically suppressing them for decades. As you are probably aware of, blacks are disproportionately below the poverty line compared to whites (more than double) due to so many different factors that we have failed to address, all of which come from poor investment in change after the civil rights movement ended. Affirmative Action is one way we set to reduce the ridiculous number of blacks born into poverty _ergo_ stuck in poverty (This applies to whites in poverty as well. Raising your socioeconomic class is exceedingly hard in America, especially in regards with the black and/or poor communities).
If ethnonationalism isn’t based on race, then I imagine you mean that it’s based on a shared culture, and I agree with that sentiment. What I don’t agree with then is how you think that you can tie culture with race, and that new groups can’t adopt the state’s culture after immigrating. Not all Englishmen are white. Not all Americans are white. If someone’s family has been in England for generations, their native tongue is English, their education was in England, all of their peers have generally the same national beliefs, is that person not English if s/he happens to racial be Latino/a? And same would apply to a Scottish man who had moved to England and has adopted every English custom. I think that it’s insane to say no. Also, would it be wrong that America has Italians and Irish? They were originally not considered to be even racial white for years. They integrated, but they also brought so much of their culture with them that we love today. Saint Patrick’s Day is one of my favorite holidays, I love Pizza, and I am not Irish nor Italian in the slightest in terms of heritage.
