Being in the UK, sports video games were a great way for me to marvel at the US stadiums in the games. Before the internet & cable TV we had very little access to North American sports, and the video games really brought to life the stars that I'd only read about. In NBA Live 95 watching Shaq or Michael Jordan seemed almost real, and yes the buttons were much simpler to control back then.
Longlive! I had to take a nap and missed it. My loss. And you are correct, ESPN 2K Football games were great! I had a Wii and Call of Duty gave me Vertigo.
1:10:55 The Talos Principle games can be played with an official third person mode with no mods. Suffering from sickness myself, I have learned to love their developer, Croteam. The same feature in the Serious Sam series is how I was able to play with my cousin. (I think the key is 'H' on PC, but it's been a while.)
I gave up video games and turned completely to cards and dice games when I developed light sensitivity issues which were being caused by a med that I was taking and I had to continue taking the med. So cards and dice games are easier on my eyes. I share your issues with dexterity. It’s tough getting older. 😂

I also get vertigo from video games, especially 1st person. It’s ok though, more time for cards and dice!
Even the NBA had an in season tournament this year.
