To idjester: I have started working on a drive-by-drive mode that uses the same Team Cards. But I'm trying to get the play-by-play version hammered out first. And yes there will absolutely be penalties in the kicking game. I just haven't gotten that far yet. From a software bakground, it's probably more accurate to call this version "alpha" than "beta". But I wanted to get it out in the world and get feedback before I locked down the basic mechanics.
I think if they can devise graphics along lines like the dice are in SCH or Dice United computer game it would probably cut down on physically rolling dice or if Andy Lewis devised a roller for it
Really enjoyed the game. It sounds rather deep, but I am okay with that, personally.
