In Western culture, we use the Gregorian calendar, and as you’ll in this moment in history, the calendar is massively influenced by Christianity. This video is a bit misleading. The Gregorian calendar was not really a whole new calendar; it was a revised and corrected version of the old pagan julian calendar.
Fair enough but it had a big impact on the people alive at the time of its adoption. In order to get things back on track, they made something like ten days disappear. Poof! Go to bed on the evening of the 10th, wake up on the morning of the 21st. I hope they mandated that that month's rent should be prorated. Another thing that today's generation didn't notice was that, while the year 2000 was a leap year, that was unusual for a year ending in 00. Part of the Gregorian change was to make it so years divisible by 100 would not be leap years because the Julian calendar actually overcompensated, which is why it got so out of whack by the 16th century. The scientists of Gregory's day further realized that that step would also overcompensate in the opposite direction by a little bit so they made an exception to their century exception by saying that a year divisible by 400 would go ahead and have a leap day. If not for this adjustment, there would have been no leap year from 1997 through 2003.

You have to divide hrs of day with days of the year. For perfect calendar. Mix of both time tellers. Together old calendars are either lunar or solar. You have to include both. Thats how the 12 hrs 12 months 12 zodiacs come about

If there truly were intelligent design, the time it takes for the earth to make one orbit around the sun would be evenly divisible by the time it takes the earth to spin one revolution on its axis.

A circle represents a yr. A circle is 360 degrees. You have to fit 365 days within 360. Doesn't fit. So you have to remember moon cycles every 28 days. So 12x30 . 360. That's why we have to devide by 12. Technically 30 days. 12 months like Egyptian but off 5 days. Aztec already had it. You fit 5days left over with 2 from Feb making 7 days with 31. March is real New yr. Spring. That's why Feb is short. Technically 5.25 days for spring to arrive. 4 quarters is 1.00 one extra day. Aztec math adds up in long count no leap yr. That's your calendar. Aztec had the 52 yr round calendar and the 5,200 long count. Round. The same 52 weeks a yr. Devide that by 365 = 7 seven days a week. .

Itis a poor excuse saying yu wont know when Easter is unLess yu change a callendar, because Jesus Praise Him ws crucified at Passover,an Passover is supposed to be around middle of BibLicaL first month of year Exodus 12 which Julian callender changed without Gods authority in 46BC as 1 NewMoon to next as Issiah 66 23 says Praise God, so even if using JuLian CaLLender, yy would still know date of Passover when using Exodus 12 callender.
