I have a 90. I too was stumped, but it was to do with vacuum egr issues. I watch C/S Corvettes on UA-cam and went to their web site. A gentleman by the name of Lyle was whom I contacted. Low and behold I got a reply that week. He was great on giving me not only a site to reference material and a source for parts I was needing. No guarantees on your issues, but worth a try. I'm west coast, there in Florida. Still was a great help. Good luck with your 84.
I have similar with my '87, same chase, little luck. However, mine did not have the OUTER felt pads, see on the opposite side of window at 6:48. My bet, these are worn and need replaced. This actually helps me, I replaced the window seals and the window hits the outer fine, but the inner barely touches the window, if at all. Time to find where the heck to get those felts.
Good video. Good luck with that third one. I tried that on my 85 and it just didn't work right. Ended up needing to adjust and align the window. Another cause of rattles is the lock rods and door open rod. You can split some vacuum tubing and put over the rods and quiet it down. The door opening rod can slip out of it's clip so check that too.

Yeah my 84 doors rattle like crazy. Or maybe that is just my old bones!

Who did your pin stripe on your car ? Obviously not factory but it looks good I might just do that on my 85 when I get it repainted.
