My cracks were at the joint of the fins and the panel. I was perplexed until I watched your video. Literally went to Harbor Freight and back, plugged it in and repaired the door in less than 2 hours. You saved me a TON of headache. Thanks for the great tip-!!!
Great attention to detail here. My ribs are cracked in the middle and I am going to use your welding method to address them. I may do the end bracket as well but for simplicity I will probably opt for a speed clip Again outstanding work!!
Mine has same problem I just haven't pulled it apart yo see what it needs. Now I know what to expect. A few extra screws doesn't hurt as long as it functions. Thanks for the video.
nice repair. and also for 1990 : ) My ribs are good but if I was doing that repair I would just unload a couple tubes of jbweld and dump it on those cracks, which I'm doing instead for the busted fastener piece at 1:26 and 3:04
It's been a year since I did the repair and it is holding perfectly. I don't anticipate any problems. It is stronger now than when it left the factory. It was a bad design from GM right from the get go!
THANK YOU SO MUCH, just the right amount of info, no excessive bullshit, no showing me what other tutorials already have
Best door panel repair idea by far from any of the repair videos.
Thanks for another great C4 repair tip, I will be be sharing this with other C4 owners! Keep them coming
By far the best C4 door repair on the interwebs. Thanks

You told the dimensions of the aluminum in your video but did not give how big the bracket is in size once its placed on the door. Great idea love it.

Thanks great idea, the tops of mine are both open, as soon as I get my interior light problem solved, door panels next.
Great job. Any updates on how the repair is holding up? Thanks
Very nice repair

looks good you can always use screw caps to cover those too!
