The stock Van’s pitot tube works just fine
Not for an IFR airplane. Pitot heat is pretty important.
The balloon determines the pressure
And will break first if you over pressure the tank.
I just bought the cheapest most pathetic ballon’s ever made at first. Need to go get some real ones to do the test right.
You mentioned a "quick build instruction sheet" which sent me on a search for such a document with no success. Could you say where you sourced such a document? Thanks in advance.
You can log into your Vans Aircraft Online store portal and under my account is a section for download aircraft specific plans.
Do yourself a favor and pay the extra for two fuel filters that go in the wing instead of one in the center console
