Glimmer: Why do you do all this? Rex: If through my fighting, someone out there gets to smile, then that's the kind of world I wanna help create. XC2 Malos: Why don't you just give it up? Who do you think you're doing this for? XC2 Rex: I'm doing it for myself! If it puts smiles on people's faces, then that's my role in this world! That's my boy.
I had a blast watching you experience Xenoblade! Thank you! I love how Rex first explains his motivation to Glimmer by saying the same thing he said to Malos at the end of 2. And when he tells Glimmer to pass the torch, he word for word says the same thing Vandham told him.
It's so sad to see how N lived for 1000 years with the guilt of killing his own son. This moment probably broke him completely, that's why they kept showing his empty eyes. But M never learned the truth, never knew what really happened in the city before she was reborn. That tower in the background became the world tree later. Oh yeah, it has been confirmed that Riku's father really was Riki (because some thought it could also be Kino). And "those ones" were Pneuma and Logos.
Also, Lucky Seven was confirmed to be Fiora. Which makes the end of base game funny because Noah just yeets her into the ocean lol. Also also, since Riku is Riki’s son, and Riki basically adopted Shulk in XC1…that makes them brothers. So Nicol is Riku’s nephew.
Na'el talking about Klaus' world as a place where everyone can live as they like in peace while the radio talks about attempts to pass a human rights bill failing is... disquieting.
With Monolithsoft's track record, we're not likely to see any news on what they do next until 2027. But this journey was great. Redeemed really just felt like it was made for the fans.
Once of the most heartbreaking scenes for me: The start of the Rex and Glimmer scene. He's tired, looking over stuff, and when he sees Glimmer and goes "kiddo", he's totally relaxed. He's forgotten she doesn't know who he is. And when she corrects him that she has a name, he's immediately snapped back to the reality of his situation.
Lamenting that you’ll never be able to play these for the first time again hit me right in the feels! Top 5 Xenoblade play-through on UA-cam, easy. Congrats!
I can't stop watching your reactions to the series over and over again, it's so exciting to feel and remember the emotions I had when I first played each game of this franchise. I love Xenoblade Chronicles.
at 17:25 , you can hear how the music changes the moment riku says "melly" and it starts playing melia's theme that is a remix of eryth sea from xenoblade 1
Nice end reaction. As for what the glowing thing at the end is, I don't think it's Kos-Mos. But I'm not sure how much I can say without it being a spoiler, so I'll leave it at that ^^ Looking forward to your Xenoblade 4 reaction!
this is wrong/dishonest. as of now we have no *confirmation* , as these could all very well be references/easter eggs/as well as whatever you are suggesting, no matter how strongly you *feel* about it. you should be more mindful of other interpretations and your own biases before stating things like a fact, it can seem like you are going out of your way to invalidate/drown out others' opinions on the matter (and I doubt you never saw anyone giving the opposite take on this).
Alvis was not the fog king. As per the XC3 artbook, the Fog King was a Guldo from Alreat that crossed over. Takahashi also revealed that a similar incident happened on the Alrest side.
in hindsight N made the right choice to go down this Moebius path otherwise Alpha most likely would have no issue completing its objective. Thus, the events of Xenoblade 3 never would have had a chance to happen because Alpha would have erased Aionios.
“If it helps put smiles on people’s faces… helps them live their lives together… then that’s my role in this WORLD!!!!” “Smiles I guess… if through my fighting someone out there gets to smile…”
Been watching you since the first episode of definitive edition, I’m glad you played and liked this series. Especially this DLC it shows how impactful a character ‘Alvis’ can be even though they are rarely ever on screen or mentioned. Believe it or not almost all the antagonist’ have some connection to Ontos directly or indirectly. Zanza and his role is the same as Malos’ in XC2 so they’d both be tied to Ontos in the trinity. Fog King and the rifts that opened in Future Connected were Alphas doing. Now people may or may not know this but Moebius Z is the other half of Ontos with their names being polar opposites and their ideologies as well. Also looking at him close enough he just looks like Alvis if he grew his hair out and became corrupted. Franchise is just one huge Iceberg and I love it, he’s the perfect character to fight after all this time, the ultimate puppet master of Xenoblade
It's wild how Future Redeemed didn't just cap off Xenoblade 3, or even the whole Xenoblade trilogy, but feels like a thematic ending for the entire "Xeno meta series" Takahashi and Monolith Soft have been working towards for so long. It was a really emotional ending when you consider this is the first time they've gotten to close out a trilogy the way they wanted to. Really enjoyed seeing your reactions to this series!
I've never really understood the debate, Kino seemed much to young to still grow up, get married, and have a kid as old as Riku. Glad the artbook has finally nipped it in the bud.
Lost Jerusalem is found. Kos-Mos is back home. The Zohar is returned. Can't wait for the next Xeno game. Yes. This game finally make canon that ALL the Xeno games are part of the SAME universe. Deal with it.
No it is absolutely NOT confirmed. Gears is owned by square, Saga by Bandai Namco. Yes there are references, but this could all just be Easter eggs. More than likely it’ll help hint towards the future of blade, since Takahashi likes to use some of the same references in his story telling, but I highly doubt it’s trying to canonically tie in all of the previous games he worked on considering licensing issues
@@lanhikari4930In the documentation of the DLC, which comes in digital format with all Nintendo Switch games, Bandai Namco and Xenosaga are mentioned. Nothing is said about Gears and Square, but the connection with the saga being canonical isn't that far-fetched considering all this.
@@Krafacreations yes I know Bandai was given a special thanks, but once again that is NOT confirmation about it “being in the same world.” Don’t get me wrong, if they did that would be sick. This was a BEAUTIFUL letter to the whole Xenoblade series (and mildly to the rest of the Xeno-series it seems) Really enjoyed the game and trully LOVED seeing you go in without any knowledge or expectations on the game, that was a treat to witness. Just like "Torna The Golden Country" lifted Xenoblade 2, Future Redeemed did the same for X3 for me. I trully enjoyed base game, but was a bit disappointed in it, mainly due to my own expectations of the game. Some things I was hoping for did not happened, and while that's ok, I was sad to not have enjoyed it as much. However, this DLC really made it even better than before I find myself loving each game for different aspects, and I think each one is better than the other two in different areas For me X1 handles its Uno reversals better than 2 or 3 X2 has the best Antagonists of the series X3 has the best Main cast dynamic Overall, I found myself reacting emotionally more frequently to X2 than the others, though chapter 5/6 and the ending of X3 had me in absolute tears Gameplay I still think that I prefer Xenoblade 2, because once I understood the gameplay, it felt the most rewarding, with Torna being the absolute peak for me, followed by future redeemed Such an incredible series, my favorite by leaps and bounds 🥲
House Vandham is descended from Addam. Rex is Addam’s descendant and his daughter Mio is Matthew’s great grandmother. Oh yeah. It’s all coming together
What is for you the best extra story, Future Redeemed or Torna? When are you planning to start Xenoblade Chronicles X? Can you make a tier list ranking all the Xenoblade characters?
My favorite theory about this is they essentially connected every Xeno game together(barring XCX but there is mentions of things in that game but people left earth for a different reason) *Spoilers* All of Xenosaga talks of Lost Jerusalem(Earth) and the radio speaks of all the people sent to space including a Philadelphia class(which is what the Eldrige is in Xenogears)...Not to mention the Vector Industries logo...a huge deal in Xenosaga. The theory of XB1 and XB2 being sent into a pocket Universe by Klaus which then made it "lost" to all the people who had left Earth prior to Klaus' experiment. Noone knows how long the worlds of Xc1 and Xc2 existed apart and then combined in Aionios...millenias probably. But that blue light falling into what is probably the re-emerged earth is almost definitely KOS-MOS as it mirrors the end of Xenosaga 3 Although Takahashi is a tricky guy so who knows what theyll do from here but they have a ton of open space to work with now. Of course since Xenogears wqs supposed to be Xenosaga 5....I wonder if the next game fills the gap🤔
