THANK YOU!!! My grandmother was an avid crocheter and knitter. I've done all sorts of other needle arts, as well as machine sewing, etc., but never did learn to crochet or knit. I always said I would do that when I became a grandmother. That happened over 20 years ago, and I will soon become a great-grandmother, but today I crocheted my FIRST dish cloth, thanks to your excellent, easy to follow video. I feel like I have finally arrived. 🙂 My grandmother would be proud.
I have been trying various beginner videos for a dish cloth for a Month! With your super easy instructions and video I am crocheting! Thank you so much. ~ Barbara from Canada 🇨🇦
THANK YOU! I’ve been trying to learn to crochet, and every beginner video was too hard to learn. Yours is the first I was able to understand! Thank you so much!
I started crocheting about 2 weeks ago and haven't been able to complete a project until your video. It took me about 5-6h, having trouble getting hang of it the first few rows, but I was cranking stitches out like nobody's business after I got halfway. And it's pretty uniform too! There's a slightly loose stitch here and there, but It's perfect enough to want to send to my grandma! 🫶
You are amazing made something very useful out of Yarn... I am definitely going to try and make one; and I if suceed gonna, make many and give to family and Friend when they come visit any time of the year. Thank you from the heart for sharing...I really loved this Little dishcloth...Oh the things that make me happy😅 Thanks again...Coco❤
OMG thank you for your video. I made a uniform dishcloth in one setting. This was awesome 👌. For some reason when trying other beginner's dishcloth video I just wasn't getting it, all my work came out lopsided. Thank you thank you thank you! I am going to get creative with the designs using this pattern.
Thank you! I was about to give up on dishrags. Something so simple, yet I'd mess them up everytime. You addressed a couple issues on here that really helped me...one was when you showed how to not make the mistake of crocheting in the wrong spot by pulling on the end to see which part was the part you'd already done (am I making sense? Lol) and the other tip you gave that helped me a lot was when you recommended using a larger crochet hook. That made all the difference for me. Appreciate that you took the time to explain these things. I've subscribed 👍☺️
Looks like the terminology police popped by your channel. Anyhow, I enjoyed your tutorial and your style of teaching. You're down to earth manner is refreshing. As a beginner to the crochet world, I chose a damn blanket as my first project...I am maybe 1/4 of the way done and feel defeated lol I should have done something smaller to start off with. Kinda feel like I I bit off more than I can chew but I'll get it done...eventually lol I subbed to your channel and look forward to more of your videos! :)
Whoop whoop! I did it! First time crocheter and I just completed my dish cloth. Your video easy to understand and love your signing parts :-) Now gona start a 2nd cloth
Thank you for your gentle guidance. After trying some of the other ‘so easy’ beginner dish cloth tutorials yours was the only one I could follow. Maybe it was the Bernat yarn, lol. I was using the exact same make and colour!
Is the hand that doesn’t hold the hook tired? I’ve never seen anyone do so much work with that hand. For those that haven’t done this before I would definitely watch other videos to see how the hook should do the work.
I am an intermediate but i like to go back to the basics to try something different. I finished my first dish cloth using the instructions but your stitches aren't consistent. The first row you instruct to YO, insert needle on 3rd CHAIN as it is called, slip 1, slip 2 and slip 2. You do this about 3x then you 4th YO, insert changes to making a DC (double crochet) and don't explain why you change to YO, insert, slip 2, slip 2. Because I know how to crochet I finish just using the DC throughout. Please review your video and you might need to add verbiage explaining the change. Thank you

Thanks for this, helped me a lot as I'm a beginner.
Thank you!
awesome tutorial
Thank you I did my fist ever crochet project
You should put a link for written pattern to most channels I've watched do that and it helps me learn it fast especially.
Beautiful work!
I learned today that’s it’s Easter to use one size lager hook for the chains, make sense?
I like your coffee cup where did you get it
Good one ❤
Thank you so much for this !!!
Um. Those stitches you're calling "slip-stitches" are actually chains. Just FYI.

Super
WOW
I feel like this is a knitting technique… use the hook to catch the yarn not wrapping the yarn with other hand!!!
Your slip stitches are actually chain stitches, your next rows are double stitches.
Ur video doesn’t help it just tangles my yarn
it’s a CHAIN NOT a slip stitch!!!
Couldn't make it past the mistake she made. Absolutely ruined my DAY
